Fair point, he doesn't have any defense to speak of which could shorten his career, but at 25 it's not too late to learn and improve in that area.
Absolutely, I mean if you look at his career 'highs' then it still reads pretty well. Sadly that sort of style ages terribly and though I don't earnestly think he is properly shopworn or anything, I do think he's nearby
He’s a likeable lad and he has big nads for getting in the ring but the way he capitulated against Mwakinyo was just stupid. I thought it might have been an ego thing at the time but in retrospect I think it was bordering on self harming. I’m guessing that mentally he was in a bad place and I hope he’s dealt with it because Smith will hurt him.

I keep hearing good things about this Fitzgerald. But I kept hearing good things about Matty Askin, Tom Farrell and a couple of other's who's names escape me who ultimately didn't show up against the matchroom prospect. I like watching Eggington but I understand it's not for everyone haha
Fight week. Eddie Hearn must be creaming his kecks. I know it gets said all the time but their is genuine hatred between Fowler and Fitzgerald. Non stop on social media at each other, the press conference should be fun this week. Fitzgerald has actually called for a gloves are off too! Smith vs Eggington should be a war.
Yep really looking forward to this although I think Smith beats Eggington comfortably. Not seen a great deal of Fitzgerald but him and Fowler should be good value for pure hatred alone!
