Had to retire due to a brain injury. I used to know Cyrus 10 years ago. I commented before his bout with Chris Jenkins that he didn't sound right in interviews.

I don't believe that he lost because he suffered a brain injury against Conah Walker I believe he lost because he went into the fight with one and that no doubt made things worse.

Shame because he was a hard grafter and exciting fighter but left it all in the gym and amateur ranks with all those hard fights and hard spars.

Always remembered seeing him beat a drained Fitzgerald in the ABAs. Looked very good. Never ever seen him fight professionally. Shame for him.

He may not have had many pro fights but the fights he did have were barnstormers.

Put it on the line and goes out like a real man with respect on his name.

Aye mate unfortunately only about 8 or 9 fights in he's been in 1 or classics. You can't make it 50 fights in with them all being wars like that.
