Dudes style is awesome, like a turtle absorbing punishment, then it explodes out of nowhere. He must have great forearms.

Anyway, It's making me wonder what Canelo/Clottey would look like, I could see Clottey just walking through Canelo's shots and giving him some good Straight rights, and body work. Canelo would need to increase his work rate to get the win out.

    Checking out Zab-Clottey now.

Clottey got fast hands, sick D, a good hook, good body attack, solid chin, and an uppercut. He's a good fighter.

Problem is, that means jack **** cuz he folds when **** gets thick in the ring. His biggest win is against Zab, who the only bigger choke artist than him. I think Alvarez would UD him, based largely on activity, just like the other top names who beat him.

I hate his style he spends two thirds of the time covering up doing nothing and he throws punches as if each costs him money that lead to some losses where he was simply outworked, hes not out of talent hes a talented guy but he doesnt use it consistently.

Thats part of his plan, he relys on his opponents gassing. Which is what he expected to happen to Pacquiao, but that story wrote itself.

i wish he would throw more punches, his got his D sorted,

he needs to let them hands go abit more when the going gets tough.

Have people seen Alvarez fight? He's doesn't throw a lot of punches and is about as economical as Clottey.

Clottey would win a close decision against Alvarez because he is simply the better fighter.

The Pacquaio fight created a false concept about Clottey amongst the casuals. He's actually offensively efficient, and not boring at-all.

    A sad mis conception.

Let me know who you think won the Cotto vs Clottey fight.
