Have you watched his other fights outside of the Pacquaio fight?

Lol. Canelo would get knocked out cold by Clottey. Clottey was an elite world class fighter. Canelo is 21 year old. Clottey would have beaten everybody except Floyd. People who don't know anything about him say he's inactive. Well I guess winky wright was. Inactive too. Cause it's the same thing. Anybody who's ever seen clottey fight knows pac could never beat him. He wasn't even trying and still bust pacs face up. Watch the judah fight. That's proof the pac fight was fixed.

yeah, i lost money on clottey at +220 against cotto. heres a guy who headbuts cotto in the second or third round. cotto, being the warrior and stud that he is, decided to fight on with nasty cut close to his eye giving the jungle joshua a massive advantage.

and what does the heartless joshua do?

he loses the championship rounds and runs out of the ring crying like a ***** when the decision is read thinking that he was robbed.

i hope he somehow gets a fight so i can fade this heartless piece of ****.

Once Pacquiao figured out that he won't throw while under pressure, he became beatable, a la Arthur Abraham. Good fighter, but a fatal flaw.

Still, I bet he could come back now and be top 10. He's just better than a lot of the good 154 pounders.

I can already tell you that without having to watch it again, Clottey should have won by at least 2 points. Probably closer to 3.

Clottey takes being economical too far. He only throws when he's almost certain of landing his shot and not taking any in return. Pacquiao exploited that weakness in full and completely shut him out of the fight, never allowing Clottey to seriously get going. There's not a lot of guys around the weight range who can do that, certainly not to the degree Pac managed, but it's always going to hinder him in some way. He arguably deserved the Cotto decision as is, but if he had opted to just work - whether it was effective or not, just work - in the final 2 rounds he'd likely have sealed the deal.

Pacquiao-Clottey is actually a really good fight to tell you whether or not someone genuinely understands the sport. So many are baffled about how Clottey went about that fight and believe he didn't even try to win despite how glaringly obvious the style mesh would be if you had seen the two prior. It's Manny's finest display of ring generalship. Controlling, turning, and negating the work of a bigger, stronger, world class opponent.

For the record, I'd like to see Clottey back in with some top opponents at 147-154. He'd give Cotto hell again and would be a very stiff test for Canelo.
