Prime, focused Lewis would be favored to beat any HWT in any era.

The guy was amazing. I think only a few would give him a hard tough fight for a prime, focused well trained Lewis.

He was devastating puncher, great offensive skills, and strong man.

    This guy is/was amazing.

Ali, Tyson, and Foreman would beat him IMO, a couple others would give a hard fight. His chin was pretty bad and would probably get exposed by couple great Heavyweights.

His two knockout losses - McCall hit him with his eyes closed - a lucky punch, and he prepared like an idiot for Rahman. My only criticism of Lewis was the Rahman fight, he took him far too lightly and gassed out very quickly and basically gave him a gift win out of pure stupidity. If only Rahman had called him a homo before their FIRST fight, it would have been a different story.

But he was in there with some hard punchers too. Bruno, Tua, Tyson etc. Not the most skilled fighters, but hard punchers nonetheless.

I think everyone could agree on this at least - a prime Lewis would add a great deal to today's division.

Lewis is a great fighter, but he has a weakness just like every other ATG fighter. He was rocked early against Briggs and probably one punch away from being on his ass, he also was rocked big time against Bruno in the early going. If Vitali would of took a step back and landed his big right he would of had him out, Lennox Lewis' legs were all over the place that night.

Why are people suggesting Lewis would not beat Tyson? I may not be a great boxing historian, but I'm sure Lewis DID actually give Tyson a proper beatdown.
It may not have been a peak Tyson, but it wasn't exactly a peak Lewis either.

He wasnt bigger or stronger than Foreman, he was taller thats it. Who has a better KO%, Foreman would bully Lewis and would lay him out with one clean punch IMO.

Tyson in his early days would murder Lewis', Lewis' was almost knocked out by Briggs and Bruno in his prime early in the fight, and Tyson is 10 times faster and puts better combinations together than them 2.

lennox had godly skills, especially when he showed it early in his career when he used to be more offensive minded. imo he never had a glass jaw it was probably shaky at worst, and average at best. i cut him some slack for the rahman fight, since he took him lightly, trained half assed which probably affected his punch resistance.

I don't agree i respect your opinion but lewis was alot bigger than foreman, prime foremand weighed 20 pounds less than lewis.
