just been watching prime tyson on youtube,dont think there will ever be another like him,just awsome,has to be top 10 atg,what do you guys think.
yeah in his prime, he was evil, i watched his 1st 20ish fight on espn classics few weeks ago, seemed such a normal kid then 2, but cus died and king and the cronnies ****ed the kid right up, dnt think it would of happened had cus been about also he'd of been a top operator for much longer
Think you may get slated for that by some idiots, but I respect your opinion, and I hear ya, Tyson was a wrecking machine before he fell apart outside of the ring. Hard to measure and put him ATG status but we just wonder how good he could been if he kept himself away from the crap. Bit of an enigma really, but yeah I sometimes watch some of the old stuff and still in awe at the way he had his man beat before the first bell went. It was great whilst it lasted, but sad that he ended up the way he did.
yea i agree 100% when cus died,then jimmy jacobs he just seem to lose interest,and when kevin rooney got fired,he was never the same.
he was the reason i started to watch boxing way back in 86,when he fought berbick,,the first fight i watched,there are some great fighters about now,maybe its just me but they dont seem to have that intensity that tyson had.
The man was a legend and the reason I fell in love with boxing. If I could meet one person before I die, it would be Mike Tyson. I would have so much to ask him. The heavyweight division still hasn't been the same without him, probably the most enertaining fighter that ever lived.
no hes not top 10 atg p4p based on achievments or resume but on asumtion that he could and should of been better then yes hes top 10 , but that rule cant be aplied to one fighter and one fighter alone so for me he barly breeches the top 10 atg heavyweights
i love boxing,but very rare i watch a heavyweight fight anymore,the klitch brothers are ok,but they hardly fill you with excitment,tyson had such intensity that even his walk to the ring was electric.
