Before & After Cotto Fight: How Do You Rate Pacs Chances against Mayweather?

I've thought Pac was a good match for Floyd since he showed he could be bigger and just as fast against DLH. Still feel that way, maybe more only because it seems like he's already in Mayweather's head. I have the fight 60/40 in Pac's favor.

 

I'm not quite sure, before i had it 50-50 and after pac's win over cotto my only concern was that I saw Manny get hit way more than in the past couple of fights. Of course the level of opposition in Cotto was higher/better than an old ODLH and overated Hatton but then again, Cotto isn't as slick as floyd and his reflexes aren't nearly as quick either. So i ask myself, will Floyd land a lot more on Manny? and because of Floyd's great stamina will manny still be able to apply his stragedy of "wearing down his opponent and going for the kill in the late rounds"???

Not really changed my opinion a great amount to be honest. I've viewed it as a close hard fight but favour mayweather before the cotto fight and i fell the same now. The fight showed me pac was a great great fighter which i already knew and that he could take a shot from a full blown welter which i hadn't known. However i didn't think floyd would knock him out before so that didn't really chance anything in my factoring of a pac v pbf fight.

Actually if anything, as good as pac was and he immense, i noticed little things that mayweather could take advantage of

The fight against Cotto showed me that Pac is NOW the number one guy for Mayweather to beat. Not taking anything away from Pac because he really answered a lot of questions in defeating a PRIME Cotto. I think Pac/Mosely would be a F'in great fight. That fight I would go 50/50. Against Money, still 80/20.

 

Before the Cotto fight, I thought that Mayweather could beat Pacquiao, albeit not as easily as he beat JMM, but after seeing what Pac did to Cotto, I honestly don't think Mayweather could beat him. Pac wouldn't dominate, but he would apply enough pressure to keep Floyd on the defensive all night, and there is NO way PBF would get a decision that way.

About a 10-20 percent chance and that's only if Floyd gets old overnight.

 

Dude styles make fights and Mayweather's style is so wrong for MP. MP got touched often when Cotto boxed. Anything Cotto can do boxing FMJ can do times 10.
