What the hell does that have to do with anything?

Joe Frazier would also **** Roberto Duran up should he be ranked higher than Manos de Piedra?

had they given Hearns a chance to fight a worn out guy at 175 for the vacant 190 pound title he would have won also. Manny should still have to fight a great to get a big ATG ranking.

The problem with Duran is he only beat one great fighter in Leonard, when Ray fought his fight, and then Ray easily beat him in the rematch.

These stats seem pretty convincing to me, I was sceptic, but top 15 ATG seems sure.

If May beats him that could change...

These stats give part of the true. But a more in dept analysis is needed to see the whole pictures. Pac has a crazy number of HOFs on his resume. He just lacks the top 50 ATG opponent to go into the top 15. If he can beat Floyd we can speak again.

I will buy that. Duran should be top 20 or top 25. I always argued he was not top 5. But his wins at different weights and beating Ray, even if Ray fought his fight warrants top 20-25. But not top 5..

He is the greatest of this decade on a history of sport that spans roughly 10 decades. That's my reasoning...

I mean you can list names like Joe Gans, Benny Leonard, Fitszimmons, Greb, Langford etc, all those guys were great. Pac could be anywhere from top 20 to top 10, not really sure, I know he's in their company. I mean those guys were great but without first hand experience of seeing them fight, either live or on film, without the dramaticised publications about them, how can we really tell just how tough their challenges were?

I mean 100 years from now someone could pick up an article written by legendary boxing writer Michael Marley that states just how tough Margo fight was and how great of a win it was. lol. Without tapes and an idea of the general perception of the fight at the time, how can we say just how important the fight really was? We weren't there. History tends to re-write itself too.

I'd like to have a long sit down convo with this guy. Ranking Pacquiao ahead of Duran, Louis, and Moore? He oughtta be shot and so should anyone who thinks Pacquiao is better than those three. Oh, and Harry Greb? And Ezzard Charles? Easily ahead of Pacquiao.

Damn, no way Pac's in the top 20...

:goodNow that list is a lot better. I'm sure some ppl would disagree about Emanuel, but I don't. He's good but not better than Pernell and I think Floyd just edges out Pernell
