If Kelly gets the fight against Cal, He'll move up. If not, give it at least a year.

Is there a link to this?? I would love to read up on that. Jsimps did you see the stuff in the latest ESPN the Magazine on Pavlik and Loew, it was good stuff. Talked of how "people" have tried to get Pav away from Loew and on to one of the "Trainers of the Stars", but Pav stays loyal to his roots. Check it out, if you haven't already seen it. Pav is on this months The Ring cover again too.

No way, fighting Abraham, Sturm or Winky is much better test than fighting some crappy light heavywheight.

 

Loew does do a bit of trash talking.....I guess it would come naturally after watching your fighter make his opponent **** himself in the ring

 

maybe if jack's lucky enough he can come over to the UK with kelly and watch his boy get humiliated when he gets slapped all over the ring with joe's girly punches.

 

I don't reckon you've eaten enough crow yet.

Go back and get another helpin' and then maybe you'll come to the realization of what joe would do to Kelly.

If he's going after Roy, it's because of the $$$$ it might generate.

Joe destroys any version of Kelly we've seen so far.

And yet, if he's to fight Kelly it better be soon. One of them is still improving while the other has passed his peak and begun the inevitable slide.

I already know what Slappy Joe would do to Pavlik. He'll run in with his head down winging slaps like he ALWAYS does, and not one time, but everytime he does that he'll get hit with one of the best lead rights in the business. The lead right stuns him, so he then gets caught by by a left hook. Now Joe is in trouble; Pavlik advances behind the jab and catches joe with a 3 or 4 punch combination. Next Joe "adjusts" by squaring up dead in front of Pavlik and starts shoe shining, like HE ALWAYS DOES, and Pavlik continues to catch him with lead rights to both the head and body. So Joe "ADJUSTS" again by mounting a body attack. Every time he throws the left to the body he'll lay his head way over to the left LIKE HE ALWAYS DOES, and Pavlik tears his head off with an uppercut. And so it goes for 9 or 10 rounds, and then Joe loses his zero. Styles make fights, and Calzaghe is a custom made Pavlik victim.

Why do so many knock pavlik?He is going great for a guy with slow hands and feet .He is a real gutsy tough guy.That hammering jab of his will sort out most he fights .
