I told the great people of ESB that although Yarde will lose the fight, he wont make a terrible account of himself. He proved hes got a solid chin, hes mentally tough and hes dangerous late on. He has a whole list of things to work on, he needs to get rid of his useless trainer and team, he needs to get a top trainer. And if he continues to work on these things and develop his own style, what works for him, he can be a belt holder at light heavyweight, he can be a top 5 LHW for years if he chooses to carry on. He wont be the man at 175lbs but he will be a solid dangerous fighter. A respectable career.

Yeah, he proved quite a few things, good chin, power, hungry, for me too bulky though, hard fights and hes gonna gas a bit every time..Lion he is not though, if he was he would've eaten Kovalev

I think Yarde could be a Soild LHW under say Booth I feel he needs to make a move like this to win a world belt.

I think he and his team will be riding on how they had Kovalev out on his feet in the 8th round, and how a little bit of inexperience cost them. I doubt Yarde would fight any fighters in the top 10.
Further down the line, he will leave Frank and cash out by fighting Buatsi.

Kovalev has been in wars, taken losses and is over the hill. You have to factor that in when saying Yarde will be a big player in the division in years to come. He will certainly be a factor, but not sure about any period of dominance. Needs new trainer as said.

A few problems here and there:

    - he is not that young anymore. People were talking like he was in his early 20s
    - lhw is a extremly strong division with probably the best top 15 in boxing.
    - the current world title holders are levels above fading kovalev. Beterbiev, bivol and gvozdyk would have koed yarde way sooner then kovalev.
    - i dont know him and his trainer personally so i will not make a wannabe psychologic analyses, but they booth seem to have a very high opinion of themself and that it not very good when getting beaten like that. Tunde even said after the fight that he thinks they did everything right in camp.
