I heard a lot of **** talking on here, from Mostly Euro posters, about Ward/Dirrell... since they didn't know who they were, they writ them off as unknown bums. Mostly just in the tournament because they were American, not because they deserved to be in the same ring as guys like Kessler, Froch and AA.

    apologies ???

Honestly though, I was rooting for Kessler against Ward and AA against Dirrell... I am not a fan of either of the AMerican fighters really, but they have proved that they deserve to be in the tournament though, I just don't really care for their styles.

none of the results have really surprised me so far.

I thought every fight would be evenly matched. I've been wrong on a few picks but not drastically.

I can't remember legitimate posters writing either one of them off, actually, I thought Dirrell and Ward had good odds to win the tournament, specially Ward as hes a real smart fighter.

    er froch won...

kessler wasnt good against ward but its only one fight, i dont think that many european fans really rated abraham at 168...i certainly didnt, i could have told you since the howard eastman fight that he would lose to someone with high volume and fast legs

this is hardly a blaze of glory for your to bask in...presumably you are looking forward to when something else happens and your post is taken to the cleaners

The only result that so far has suprised me was Ward/Kessler simply because I hadn't seen much of Ward other than a few highlight clips.

I knew Dirrell was talented and had him beating Froch and believe he would have beaten Abraham as well. Good to see some genuine American talent emerge at super middle, it's been a long time coming.

I actually laid a bet on Ward to win the tournament at 6/1, before he beat Kessler and thought Abraham and Froch were both way overvalued from the outset.

you actually believe Froch Won? Come on... I wan't to see Dirrell get KTFO, but it was obvious that he won... Jesus, Froch didn't land more than 2 clean punches ...

Maybe you haven't heard, but in Boxing... you win by landing clean effective shots... not by aggressively bull rushing your opponent and landing nothing

I think Froch and Kessler will meet in the finale

btw Dirrell has to beat Ward otherwise he might be out after the groupstage.
