Before they fight, right now if you had to judge...who is the greater fighter

Depends on what you like when watching boxing.

Pacquiao is a great fighter, some of his fights (even defeats) have been classics.

Mayweather is also a great fighter and has put on some master classes.

If pushed I'd go for Mayweather, I still hope Pacquiao beats him though.

Pac has been in greater fights, and probably has better single wins.. He also has some losses though, while Floyd has some good wins as well and undefeated. Floyd has the edge, not if Pac wins though.

Both are ATG fighters, but I will take Pac as the greater of the two due to quality of opponents.

 

Pac gets it on 1 factor alone - 8 titles in 8 divisions. That is greatness right there not to mention other factors such as common opponents fighter of the decade and fighter of the year.

 

Mayweather of course. He has a better chin so I know he is not gonna take a little nap while am fighting. Plus Floyd has bigger bodyguards

Pac has the greater wins, and is generally a more fan friendly fighter. He make the biggest fights happen and has an entertaining style.

But Floyd is the better boxer. Almost everyone understands this. That gives Floyd an aura reserved for the absolute best. He is simply a Boxer with capital B.

So I go with Floyd.
