There is still 10 days before Pacquiao will have secured an opponent for November 13th...and Floyd is still in the picture. So no it is not fact...and it is not out of the question for this bout to happen this year.

£50? :patsch How old are you? I'm gonna guess and say your not above the age of 16. This forum gets funnier by the minute.

I'm struggling to get my head around whats happening with this lot.

I thought the fight would be going ahead, Mayweather even said in an interview that he would be involved in the 'biggest fight ever' in November or words similar to that when he was with 50 Cent on MTV.

As soon as the countdown clock went up on the Top Rank site I just knew Mayweather wouldn't meet the deadline, it was only a few weeks ago Arum was talking about negotiations being cautious because of the size of the egos involved and then he's got some countdown clock which is anything but a cautious way to deal with someone with an ego.

Another thing is everything we've got to go off is coming from Arum and finding out he wasn't even negotiating with Golden Boy makes you wonder if they were ever at the stage where contracts were drawn up with only signatures needed.

I'm still optimistic the fight will go ahead in November and what we've got now is just Arum and Mayweather trying to outdo each other, Floyd has already shown that he's not going to be rushed by Arum into doing anything and his deadline was clearly bollocks.

He needs to speak to let everyone know what is going on but part of me thinks it could all be part of the promotion, they need to be careful though as it's getting to the point where people won't give a **** if they fight or not soon.

I agree Floyd needs to come out and say something. Maybe he's in hiding because nothing he will say will put him in a good light unless those words are, "We have a deal. I'll fight Manny Pacquiao on November 13."

If his reason is Roger's situation, I think it is acceptable. It just sucks for boxing. In 2011, Floyd will be 34 and Manny 32. How prime will they still be?

    Whatever you say.

I hold my ground on everything I have said.... if floyd turns down the contract over 14 days or 50/50 he is a joke and a coward.

But this was all under the assumption that there was some actual negotiating going on and not some 4th and 5th party mediation.

Only the blindest haters couldn't see that it's been like that since the 'scared of Margarito' days.

Who unplugged you from the Matrix?

As I was talking about THIS situation, ******, I guess you could back track it to other potential fights and apply it too.

But way to dissect whatever I say and apply it to your previous "i hate you because you hate floyd" mentality.

I am not aware at all of why you're in this thread saying anything to me... keep going. I'll act like it's not deep seated in my previous anti-mayweather rants.

But you need to hear why and under what circumstances before you throw mayweather under the bus.

I'm just saying... Arum exaggerated this thing into mayweather having agreed to terms and this being a go but he was too chicken to sign.

Then last night he 180's and says floyd has issues and it's reasonable to hold off on signing.

He's looking out for his promotion and his pay days and a bunch of fans are gleefully calling floyd a ***** over this.... so much so that even arum is having to defend him to keep interest alive.

'THIS situation' is NO different from the 'other potential fights'. Only the blindest of fans can't/couldn't see that.

I am addressing you because a) you are the threadstarter, b)you have probably wasted more bandwidth on this site ignorantly repeating Bob Arum related lies than anyone, and c) your sudden epiphany and shock that Bob Arum consistently lies to enhance his own position is hilarious.

Did you know there was no Santa Claus either?

Floyd's not saying anything for a reason. This is all theatrics... all planned behind the scene stuff. What ever is going to happen is already set to happen. Likely Bob cashes in on another Top-Rank fight and Floyd waits for Roger. It's been agreed upon, Floyd is probably supposed to be quiet from the media so he gets his bigger purse and blood testing requirements agreed to, which might explain why Arum was so nice on Floyd's behalf. This would be unprecedented for Floyd to just wait this long and just say absolutely nothing. Him, his team... nothing. All this **** is mapped out. Boxing's become sort like a WWE these days.
