Your spelling and your numeracy leave much to be desired, Suzie. You're a student of boxing history, so tell me who tends to age better: crafty boxers who rely mainly on their skill and strength or swarmers who rely mainly on their speed and ability to brawl?
116 - 111. Calzaghe. Gave Hopkins 1, 2 and 10 from memory. Good win for Joe against a fouling, diving, dirty, disgusting opponent.
Incidentally, I had the fight 9-3, so you clearly were scoring the rounds themselves correctly! :good

117-110 Joe Calzaghe! I think I'm one of the few that was actually impressed with Joe Calzaghe. Hopkins did his best to make it a non-fight, but I was impressed with how Joe rode the tide, and kept his cool under Hopkins predictable antics. ......I think anyone that has followed Bernard Hopkins long enough, knew that his lone chance to win was to make it an ugly fight. Bernard accomplished that, but Calzaghe kept his cool and won imo going away. It was a pretty cut and dry fight as far as scoring as far as I'm concerned.....like the Jermaine Taylor fights, Hopkins just cant fight three minutes of a round with a fighter that can. Criticism of Calaghe's performance imo is unwarranted. When a fighter like Hopkins is dead set on fighting as defensive as he does, there is'nt much a fighter like Calzaghe who is not a big puncher, but a volume puncher, can do....except flurry in the openings that Hopkins gives him. ......of that, Calaghe kept his cool, and did his job! Not great, but a solid win for Calaghe nevertheless. Its hard for a fighter not to lose their composure with the antics that Hopkins pulls out of the bag, and Calzaghe held his composure and even had some fun with it!
