    I had it 116-112 Calzaghe

Scoring aside i though he done well, nobody looks good against B-Hop! JC went in there had to adjust (from the right hand success Hopkins was having). I don't think it would've taken much from Hopkins to make the fight a lot closer but when rounds are close i can't score them for someone who is initiating so many clinches.
I think anyone other than B-Hop JC would've looked a lot better, he may be 43 but he's still a damn good fighter.

116-111 or 115-112 seems about right. Bottom line is this. Clazaghe landed over 100 more punches, was the aggressor though out the match, forced less clinches, had Hopkins HURT.

The first four rounds were close, after that it was mostly Calzaghe.

Hopkins disgraceful acting on a non-low blow late in the fight bought him a few minutes to re-fuel his gas tank. I’m glad the crowd saw though Hopkins acting.

The site I was watching it on went down after 4 rounds, up until then I was VERY dissapointed in Calzaghe. He looked sluggish and tentative. He was not even throwing enough to worry Hopkins and I was expecting far more from him.

I will be interested to see the rest of the fight, but I expected a much more dominant display from Joe and fighting RJJ is a **** choice. Who gives a **** if he beats a shot RJJ? Anyone who is not bias knows that a prime RJJ takes him apart and this version has already been starched twice by Tarver and Johnson.

Calzaghe should be fighting Pavlik or Dawson. Dawson has the tools to beat him even though Calzaghe would be slight favourite.

    116-114 Calzaghe

Tough one to score. Apparently most of the 'experts' at ringside had it close, according to Setanta (UK's HBO)

I agree for the most part (my score was closer, 115-113 Cal), except completely disagree with the bolded part.

Hopkins was not hurt a single time.

Calzaghe, however, went down in the first and got staggered by another right in the middle rounds.
