    Regarding the Santos vs Carwin fight. I don't think that fight did the sport's reputation much good. I was watching it thinking how am I being entertained here?

    I didn't find the techniques particularly aesthetically pleasing, there is much talk of Carwins great heart. I don't want to take anything away from the guy, but when the adrenalin kicks in, the fighters don't feel the damage until later. Fighters are the worst judge of whether they should continue.

    Also the guy I forget his name, who scored knock out of the night. What an arsehole, whooping and hollering endlessly as his opponent lay possibly dead spark out on the canvas.

    Have you ever noticed that just about every time someone scores a knockout, in MMA it's like someone winning the jackpot at a gambling table, oh my God, my God I can't believe it. My lucky punch with my tiny glove made contact.

    There are the technicians and masters that carry the sport and the rest who are basically used for human **** fighting. MMA has come a long way but definitely still getting there.

    Sadly, I agree. I can handle it but I knew if anyone off the street saw that, it would be shunned.

    Debate the morals all you want. But me and you have no right to be playing Nanny with anybodys lives, especially when they are doing absolutely no direct harm to our own

    Nobody's forcing anyone to fight, nobody's forcing anyone to watch.

    i think it was fine. however any fight with roy nelson in it is definitely not good for the sports reputation imo. i could imagine anyone checking an mma fight out for the first time and seeing his big gut would just about die of laughter.
