I was trying to ****yze Floyd's rather unlike-Floyd showing in recent weeks and I can see through the 'I have finally become a nice guy Floyd' facade. These are my conclusions:
    1. He wants to be more likeable before he retires. You dont want to hate someone who behaves well. Playing a nice guy will slightly enhance people's and media's perception of him, and favours his legacy.
    2. For years he trashed Manny, threw every insults at him. By treating him respectfully and saying good things about him just before the fight, he may have taken away some of Pacquiao's rage. Manny is already talking good of Floyd and he may be less inclined to damage Floyd.
    3. He may be giving Pacquiao false impressions in different levels. I have no doubt Floyd will take every chances -legal, illegal, ethical, unethical to dispose of Manny during the fight. He may lure Manny to make silly Ortiz-esque mistakes. Not saying Manny is stupid but Floyd has many tricks up his sleeve.
    4. He is, may be, seriously worried about this fight. He may not be 100% sure about his chances this time and doesn't want to become an outright fool post-fight by trash talking now.
    5. Regardless, he is determined to win. He has prepared his best and will do everything to make sure his 0 is intact. He must win to keep trumpeting his claim as TBE for the rest of his life.
Unfortunately, if he wins, we will have to bear with the same brash, brazen, arrogant ***** of a person called money Mayweather because what we see today is the thinly vieled version of the same person.

    1) Guaranteed money via contract with CBS/Showtime.
    2) The fight with Pac sells itself.

Floyd hasn't put on the clown routine in quite some time. I don't know where people have been. There is nothing new about it.
