Anyone else really Disapointed with tonight's episode. I found it dull and boring with nothing new. Maybe I'm just used to the 24/7 series but Sky's attempt wasn't a patch on any 24/7 I have seen.

Was alright, I knew I wasn't going to learn anything new. It's a show for the casual punter, it serves a purpose.

Well it doesn't help that Carl has no real personality he may be exciting in the ring but outside it he has the personality of a plank, Fury behind the ropes would be great i reckon because he is a real character

The tactics show was poor too. Carl is rightly favourite for the fight, but the love-in for him was a bit much at times. I like Woodhall and his analysis, but he's a long way from impartial for a Froch fight and wasn't the best choice. They're charging subscriber's £15 a pop, so how about putting your hand in your pocket and getting someone like Glen Johnson who's shared a ring with both of them to give his opinion?

They spent about 5 minutes talking about how good Froch's jab was and all they showed was Kessler 2 clips. What they didn't bother showing was Froch's lazy jab in Kessler 1 that cost him all the early rounds or the fact he couldn't land one on Dirrell or Ward.

I know there's a PPV to sell to wider sports fans, but it was the equivalent of MOTD level punditry with the same old cliché's repeated. I was half expecting them to roll-out Jamie Redknapp to tell us Carl's a top top boxer.

Yep. Zzzzzzzzz. Stick a camera on him running up and down, stick a camera on him in a cafe with his family, stick a camera on him in a snooker hall and then stick a camera on him in the gym sparring. HBO won't be losing any sleep!

True. Unfair to compare to the American versions. But would have been nice to have got something a bit different, a bit more insight. They can only work with what the fighters give them though.

Insight to what? I'm not sure Carl said this is what i'm going to do..I would have thought they told him what to do!

Go to the restaurant with your wife for lunch, go play snooker with your brother and mates, do some padwork, running whatever..

He comes across alright to me...he lives the life of a boxer 24/7 which is a bit boring..

And where did I say anything about the result other than Carl is rightly the favourite? The point was Sky have been getting themselves a little too hot and bothered over him in the build up at the expense of balanced coverage.

Maybe try reading before you using your smiley faces next time.
