Well, nobody fought him before and after the layoff until Chuvalo and Quarry in 1972, by which point he was clearly past prime as I've already said.
It's not altogether inconceivable. The same thing happened to Frazier. But no: I've never claimed that Ali was prime in '71. I've just stated that there's no evidence that of a real decline.
on another note is that really a pic of Addie the child photoshopped on Winnonas knee? Whoever it is looks like it could be her son
No not inconceivable but I think he was less fleetfooted and his legs weren't quite the same. No version of Ali has an easy fight with Frazier though
If you're talking about my old avatar then yeah, it's me. I'm always told I look like her but it's bull****...
Duran was still decent with Benitez, it is that when he fought better guys he was beaten up. This is exactly why I think Duran is overrated. He was only 30 here and fought another 20 years, and he gets credit for beating Moore a year and a half after this and Barkley 7 years after the Benitez fight. He just could not deal with the speed of Leonard and Benitez and Hearns.
Excuse me, did the TS claim that horses aren't dangerous opponents? Tell that to the family of Kenneth Pinyan: This content is protected :verysad
But isn't the the same case with Duran? Especially his second fight with Leonard and fight with Benitez. You can say that for most events. They even say it for Schemling-Louis I now.
