The last time he fought here in the States at the Tachi Palace in Lemoore, it was like 120 degrees outside and the promoters along with the Casino thought it would be a good idea having it outdoors. WTF! Hell no I wasnt going to go and I only live like a half hour away...

    Indoors yes, outdoors **** no...

No, it was clear that Lebedev was the superior fighter. Yes. But when you score a fight like you are supposed to, going by clean punching, effective aggressiveness, defense and ring generalship, it was close.

Your score of 115-113 was OK...but leaning any further in Huck's direction - even a draw - starts to get sketchy. 115-113 for Lebedev already signifies giving Huck the benefit of the doubt in a couple of the closer rounds. Adhering to the 10-point must system and judging round by round - it's extremely difficult to justify a Huck win.

The difference in Hopkins-Pascal is that you have several consecutive clear Hopkins rounds (6-11, and round 4 was crystal-clear as well) that really nobody disagrees on - but the works get gummed up by those first 3 (and the 5th, and the 12th). There have been wide disparities in the people's scoring of those five rounds...which is why some people insist Hopkins ought to have won comfortably and some people see the draw as fair. Anyone arguing Pascal won (even by the slightest margin) would, of course, be out of line - but so too would anyone who had it a shutout for Hopkins minus the knockdowns.

One fight had both a clear "seeming victor", who performed better in the majority of rounds and therefore ought to have won the contest on points.

The other fight had a clear "seeming victor" who performed better in the majority of rounds - but the couple of rounds he didn't win, combined with the inescapable fact that he twice touched the canvas, conspire against him to make it very debatable whether he deserved to win the contest on points or fell just short (with the draw).

Anyway, this will be a terrific fight (and would be one even if it were in Mecklenburg). :bbb

    Hopefully it winds up online.

Braehmer should make it one to remember and could well leave the hometown hero with a nasty next-day headache, but the young gladiator is taking the sport very seriously at this stage (already promoting himself and others) and must be eager to use those square shoulders of der Deutsche as a rung on his ladder to the top.

Yep it would be **** for those two countries to put Germany to shame, in all seriousness do you think the UK and the US have a worse reputation than Germany? To be honest any country are capable of home town decisions but you have cheek to say Germany have a better reputation than the US or the UK.

I think this will be a very close fight but shumenov will get the decision because he is the hometown guy, like 115-113.

See, that´s a post I can agree with. It´s extremely difficult to score that fight for Huck. But it can be justified. That´s why it was a close fight, a hometwon decision but no robbery. What was ma initial point. :good Just like the Hopkins fight.

I hope it will be a good fight. I hope Shumenov punishes Brähmer and stops him late - and I expect to get this. :deal

Who is talking about reputation. I´m talking of robberies and fixed fights. The thing is every close fight in Germany is automatically a robbery while robberies in the US and UK always end up beeing called "close fights" . Probably has to do with the majority of boxing fans are American or British.

Yes, Cleverly is the truth. Don´t like that he is British though, too many dumb Brits like "46-0" and the likes are around who probably make me hate him.

    I can´t watch it :|
