    Round 1: 10-9 Nery
    Round 2: 10-9 Nery
    Round 3: 10-9 Nery
    Round 4: 10-8 Villanueva
    Round 5: 10-9 Nery

Nery was not affected by the knockdown at all. They go to war, Nery landing heavy shots, and Villanueva lands some very heavy shots on Nery in the heat of battle. Nery is a little too reckless going after Villanueva here.

Villanueva has always been durable. Showing a lot of heart with those right hands he's throwing during exchanges.

    Round 1: 10-9 Nery
    Round 2: 10-9 Nery
    Round 3: 10-9 Nery
    Round 4: 10-8 Villanueva
    Round 5: 10-9 Nery
Round 6: TKO win for Nery!

Nery starts the round a little more cautious, using the jab more. Halfway point in the round Nery turns it back on lands some good shots and the ref jumps in and waves it off. Too early for my liking, Villanueva deserved better than that.

    Round 1 Nery 10-9
    Round 2 Nery 10-9
    Round 3 Nery 10-9
    Round 4 Nery 9-9
    Round 5 Nery 10-9
Round 6 Nery wins by TKO6

Nery a little more cautious now, slowly backing him to the ropes, jabbing now, Arthur lunges in, his misses everything, Nery clips and hurts Villanueva again, backs him to the ropes lands one two and again, he's rocked, Nery unloads, the ref steps in and waves it off.

Weak stoppage, especially considering that Villanueva has had his best success while hurt.

Yeah, but... I didn't like the way he was wobbling backward everytime Nery caught him with a hook, the end was nigh, and Nery clearly recovers well even when caught with a counter, it was only a matter of time, its probably a good thing, no need for Arthur to take another few rounds of damage.

All I can say is that he didn't look nearly as strong as he did against Yamanaka :eyebrow2:

9-9? You mean 10-9 Villanueva (assuming you have Nery winning the round despite getting knocked down), right? There's no such thing as 9-9 w/o deductions under ten point must.

I agree. Especially since a judge can fill it out in mistake and there's no consequence or anything.

    Look at Argentina.

F*** it. We're fans. Judges can f*** it up on purpose. So can we.

I hope Yamanaka destroys Nery in the rematch. I would be hoping for him to win period. But after the whole PED mess and WBC backing Nery, I want a destruction. I fear it'll be in the opposite direction again, but hey. Go Shinsuke Nakamura... er, Yamanaka.

Yeah, unlike theirs, its not like our scorecards actually matter. We have that luxury.
