Perro is at SMW, he can't make JMW or MW at this point.

Paired with Brandon Rios vs. John Molina as co-feature.

Margarito should face Omar Chavez, Javier Maciel, Jesus Soto Karass, Victor Ortiz and have a dual retirement match against Popo Freitas.:deal

JSK was his main sparring partner for a long time, and gave him good hard work back when Margarito was prime and Soto Karass was going through a down period in his career (not dedicated, considered to be headed nowhere) before improving quite a bit.

Seems like he's on that trajectory again, he'll lose the rematch against Kamegai officially this time. It seems like JSK's layoff didn't benefit him in the least.

I'd favor the JSK of Kamegai I over the Margarito of Páez. (still haven't caught up on last night but anything short of a whitewash/stoppage of Inocente has to be considered a disappointment)

Aside from the first and last round it was basically a whitewash, Margarito was incredibly disciplined last night and boxed very well. It was almost what you could call a schooling. The use of his jab, subtle defense and control of range was actually quite impressive for him. He actually reminded people last night that he knows how to box.

Not really, Margo was getting pressured a lot in that fight IIRC and boxing off the backfoot. Margarito was walking Ramon down and using his jab to set up one twos, and shots to the body, he performed oddly enough.....like Kovalev. You should check it out.

Just watched this. Incredibly boring. They both looked absolutely terrible.
