    Zorrita (Crafty Lil Fox) vs. Cañerito (Lil Sugar Cane) won't create many ripples in the welterweight division, being a 2-decade veteran of the sport - and former elite, but still a blown-up featherweight - taking on a domestic journeyman, but is the only meaningful televised bout tonight in the Western hemisphere...unless you give 41 year old Naoko Fujioka much chance with the 112lb female WBC titlist and queen-pin Jessica Chávez, headlining another Mexican card airing on Televisa.

    ...or care about chick boxing, period.

    Well, as they sometimes do, beIN Sports Español has dropped the ball after having advertised they were intending to pick up a live boxing card. Instead on tonight's Boxeo slot they are running a replay of Antonio Margarito vs. Ramón Álvarez, complete with its co-feature Pedro Campa vs. David Bency, showing now.

    Azteca Siete in Mexico, however, is carrying Soto vs. Ruiz, albeit on tape delay, from 11:35pm EST, after Lucha wrestling.

    I can't believe I'm watching La Parka (working STIFF, and bleeding profusely through his mask) actually perform in 2016. I loved this guy in wCw in the late 90's.

    He was such a badass, easily my favorite WCW luchador, I couldn't stand Juventud Guerrera, Hector Garza or Rey Mysterio, Psicosis was okay.

    Whichever currently has La Parka competing in their main events.

    He was mid-card gold during the Monday Night Wars, nice to see him getting a push in a smaller pond.

    Yeah it become intolerable when WWE starting putting him over guys like Big Show on a regular basis.:lol:

    Still my favorite Rey moment from WCW is when Nash used him as a land dart and threw him head first into a trailer.:qmeparto:
