    Ferguson seemed so close to getting at least a knockdown if not a knockout but Tabul stayed on his feet somehow and makes it to the final bell where he will surely be awarded the decision.

    Ferguson and Tabul are exchanging huge loaded-up shots, their own misses dragging them off-balance and stumbling across the ring several feet apart from each other. This has devolved into a mess. Ferguson is landing a little better when they grind together up close, shoulder to shoulder, popping short uppercuts into the bottom of Tabul's jaw. Tabul less creative with output but still determined, chopping away up top with the right, missing for the most part. Ferguson is tired & therefore lacking in head movement enough that some of Tabul's rights are dinging him, causing him to bobble. HUGE two-way exchange of straight punches as they slide along the ropes, Ferguson landing a much greater quantity and far more sharply but Tabul clearly the heavier-handed, doing as much damage with a punch or two as Ferguson does in half a dozen. Ferguson able to slither away, turn his shoulder and make Tabul miss and graze the bicep with a few shots. Counter jabs by Ferguson on the backfoot.

    BoxRec had this listed as being a 12-rounder but apparently it was demoted, as that was the end of the fight.
