    Round 1

Berchelt is snapping turns and gliding around the very large ring, posing with his gloves up and roping out a long jab. Giono is sallying forth and reaching for him with a 1-2. Berchelt artfully sidesteps and keeps moving laterally, countering with stiff jabs. Nice right hand hurts Giono. Follow-up 1-2-1-2s by Berchelt, picking up the pace but remaining patient and out at range.

    10-9 Berchelt

    Round 2

Berchelt is skipping in circles of massive diameter around Giono, tracing a square just within the ropes, evading the Panamanian's wide leaping hooks or parrying them off the wrist-tape of his right glove. Sharp combos from Berchelt while spinning Giono like a dial, everything coming straight and crisp from medium to long range. WILD hooks by Giono. Berchelt is countering with a 1-2-1-2-3 and then stepping away to set himself and repeat. Giono ROCKED.

    10-9 Berchelt

    20-18 Berchelt

Berchelt is known to be a big puncher. Giono has lost half a dozen times but only been stopped once - in his last match, in June, when he challenged interim WBA super featherweight champion Noé Emanuel Lopez and got TKO'ed in 10.

(Raise your hand if you knew that Noé Emanuel Lopez existed, or was a world titlist)

Anyway, quickly dusting this guy off would be a nice result for Alacran.

    Round 3

Berchelt is standing upright to make Giono's jab stir the air in front of him by half a yard. Berchelt is ducking in place to stuff Giono's body shots and lowering his gloves to intercept. Berchelt is giving him nothing, very stingy defensively. Sharp combos in counter. WILD left hook by Giono, ducked with a matador turn and slide outward to the right by Berchelt, leaving Giono confused staring at empty ring. Crisp 1-2 puts Giono down. He's up and hooking like mad. Berchelt weaves his way through the asteroid field at mid-range and lands more 1-2s. Giono is drilled into a corner, and it gets waved off.

    TKO3!!

Solid performance. I'd say Berchelt should be targeting a rematch with Flores (the Colombian banger that dealt his only career defeat in a 90-second upset last year) but Flores is now campaigning at light welterweight...

Maybe go after Noé Emanuel Lopez? That dude holds a piece of a world title and Berchelt just destroyed someone in less than a third as long as Lopez took him in his first defense.

Should be easy to make. Both are Mexican and under the Promociones Zanfer banner.

Actually, Berchelt fought in the co-feature of that card with Lopez vs. Giono as the main event, so maybe they are building toward a showdown there.

This isn't listed on BoxRec. :conf

As of now they only have the main event listed along with Montero vs. Montiel, Gonzalez vs. Torres, and Bautista vs. Cronin - all presumably over.
