Is there anyone else on here who feels the same? seems most people are either for Pacquiao and generally hate Mayweather or vice versa, with a few who have a preferance from one of the two, but is there anyone else who appreciates their fighting skills evenly? :think

I used to be a fan of each evenly. I prefer Mayweather a little more now because I find *******s intolerable. I liked Pacquiao a lot more before the ODLH fight. Actually though I liked Floyd more too before he ever fought Oscar. Now both just fight for money but hopefully they will fight each other for money.

I like em both and always have but I like Pacquiao more cause I think he's just a once in a lifetime type of talent and always been underrated.

I do , I have never gone against either of them within the ring , I think they are equally great , but with different effects.

Outside of the ring I have completely different views , Manny is a hero to his nation and loved by his country , very respectful and will probably be remembered for not only boxing , but the help he is giving to his nation.

The other person , well less said the better...

Yeah I'm one right here, it's not hard at all to tell who's proven to be the truth and who's proven to be a joke. Pacquiao obviously is the truth and someone who seriously wants legacy in the sport and wants to give the fans ALL he can offer till he has nothing left. Mayweather is just here to give an example of how to become delusional and how to lose everything without doing absolutely nothing about it. He could have stopped Pacquiao from crushing all these guys right after Pac destroyed Hatton, he didn't want to, he wanted to return for some much needed attention and take off. Pacquiao just thrashed him completely and exposed him without having to be in the ring with him and we all know Mayweather wanted nothing to do with fighting Pac.

I'm a fan of both but I lean a little more towards Mayweather. Lots of respect for Pacquiao though.

I enjoy watching both fight . I enjoy watching them both out of the ring. I prefer watching Floyd he is the type of talent that dose not come around too often and could truley beat everyone of his era around his weight although he is far too protected when he dosent need to be. Pac is the kind of worrier that comes around a little more often but again is protected in a way that gives the impression he could beat anyone around.

I wouldnt say evenly as I am a legit Pac fan in almost every aspect, I like his style, I like his heart, I like his mentality, I like his attributes, and I like how he normally conducts himself out of the ring as well.

That being said, I like Mayweathers in ring abilities as well, I actually love watching Mayweather fight, and you could name just about any fight of his and its one I can rewatch. And while I slightly prefer Pacs methods of attack just due to it being more violent and thats what I prefer, its not by that huge a margin. Its his out of the ring antics, how he conducts himself (or seems to at least, lets say his public perception) and his reluctance to make the fights fans want to see him in the most (for whatever the reasons) where there is the big difference in my opinions of the two.

I like Floyd what I don't like is how much many boxing fans overrate him.

You can actually see me defending Floyd many times. I also never said he was scared to fight and usually pick him to win his fights and give him props when he deserves it.

Just cause I have to put the outlandish *****s in their place does not make me a Floyd hater. On the contrary

Since i have been on esb, I have never read anything positive you had to say about mayweather. You're not even close to likely both fighters equally.

I would say Scar fits the bill perfectly.

not a fan of floyd. i respect his talent but i think he takes this hit and not get hit too seriously that sometimes he just technically just wants to win on points. pot shoting tends to be boring, but when he has offensive spurts, that's when it becomes entertaining. he usually has the edge against his opponents that to me playing it too safe becomes ridiculous. i acknowledge the talent, fundamentals, superb defense, and athleticism though. i also don't like his attitude. his level of talent calls for a better attitude towards boxing.

I say Floyd is an excellent fighter all the time. I also said I consider him one of the best fighters of this era. If that's not positive, then what is it?

Like I said I like Pac more because I think he is the better fighter and is underrated. But that doesn't make me a Floyd hater. Any fighter with the level of skills that Floyd has, I'm a fan
