personally I find a fighter who fights 55 fights and has couple of losses but all his fights where agenst top fighter more better then someone who has 42 fights unbeaten and most of his fights have been picked like for example Floyd also you cant compare a guy with 42 fights to someone who who has nearly 60 scientific law says more you fight more chance you will lose I bet you if floyed fought 10 more times he will lose couple of times for sure.
It depends on the competition. Floyd was never going to lose against Robert Guerrero or Victor Ortiz. Guerrero just sucks and Ortiz has something psychological going on with him. In addition, Floyd robbed Castillo so he does have a defeat.
ill just paste this here then im honestly dumbfounded at what floyd haters and *******s spew sometimes... they critisize floyd resume and they ostrasize him for not fighting pacquiao yet it was pac who walked away from negotiations even after floyd agreed to ring size glove size location and purse split THIS WAS WHEN THE FIGHT MATTERED.. he suspected pacquiao was on PEDs and i mean its not exactly a bad thing because pacquiao was doing things no other fighter had done before, all floyd wanted was reassurance they were fighting on an even playing field. floyd would have taken the same tests but pacquiao still walked... these are FACTS... secondly the resume thing? how do you dump on floyd resume when facts back up floyd had fought basically the best opposition he could have at the given times. he gets criticized for not fighting prime mosley and oscar. HE CALLED THEM BOTH OUT in one of his post fight interviews (im sure one of you die hard floyd fans will know) "i hear oscar and shane are moving up to 147. those are the fights i want", none of them wanted anything to do with him. can you blame them? no to put it simply mayweather was a star but no where near as big as he is now or delahoya and shane were at the time and he was clearly to high of a risk. again these are facts bro... cotto is another fighter floyd gets burnt at the stake over not fighting in his prime. floyd wanted that fight to happen the reason it did not happen was because of arum. arum even states this in his interview with his famous "you gotta know when to hold em know when to fold em". arum wanted to protect his cashcow (smart business decision), unfortunately it cost him in the long run as floyd went on to leave TR and sign the oscar fight (after Oscar left aswell) which till this day holds the PPV record. tzyu ? well tzyu was on showtime and floyd was on HBO you see a billion fantasy threads starting about fighter x vs fighter Y and within 2 or 3 posts its "ones with TR ones on GBP, the fight will never happen" but does the same apply to floyd not fighting tzyu? nah we will just say he ducked him right? listen i dont really care when casual fans scream "floyd is ducking pacquiao" because i know they fall for bob arums spin and thats fine, im happy to prove them wrong but most of the time i wont waste my breath. but you and the rest of the haters on this forum, YOU CLEARLY have an interest in boxing and have followed it long enough to have atleast done some research on the relationships and politics behind boxing especially bob arum you watched bob arum try desperately to protect floyd but floyd wanted those big fights so he made the appropriate moves to get them made and it worked for him IT WORKED BIG TIME. now arums cash cow became pacquiao a great fighter and gaurenteed ATG HOF no question about it. floyd haters claimed pacquiao was the true P4P #1 and until they fought it was hard to answer that question definitively. but then you see typical bob arum doing what he could to protect his fighter. here comes pacquiao in his prime ranked p4p number one and who is he fighting? guys coming off brutal ko losses? how the **** does that work? to get a shot at p4p number one you have to work your ass off. but if bob arums fighter is number one all you have to do is lose a fight? again i have no issues with warm up fights but they wernt pacquiaos resume is fillled with GREAT FIGHTERS at bad points in there careers? you can flip the cards and look at the situation now. pacquiao is coming off a KO loss. now under normal circumstances you put a guy like rios in with pac and its a bloodbath cakewalk for manny. but people are questioning pacquiaos ability after the KO loss. did it change him? has it taken alot out of him? its happened to plenty of fighters in the past why not pacquiao? but the same is not said when a prime pacquiao signs to fight guys coming off KO losses? like i said floyd is ****ing stupid when it comes to public speaking he sucks ass at it, his attitude outside the ring is pathetic and i cant blame people for hating him but if you were him and you were the biggest name and selling the most PPVs in boxing would you change? floyds a hypocrit for what he said on catchweights, then goes on to sign canelo to one but at the same time floyd aient a 154 fighter canelo baloons to 172 (to put that into perspective GGG in his last fight rehydrated to just 170 for a middleweight fight) floyd is past prime we have weight divisions in boxing for a reason (as the great manny steward once said) floyd will give you the fight you want and the one everyone is screaming for but at what cost? if he beats canelo at 154 you would all just demand he face GGG... canelo had a chance to fight mayweather after he beat mosley but he did decline saying he was not ready. this is canelo the future star of boxing. his coming along nicely and he knows floyd is contracted to more then a few more fights so he does not have to rush to sign to fight as he knows floyd cant just retire tomorrow. canelo is also undefeated there is alot riding on him and there is no way canelo himself or oscar would let a fight with mayweather go through if canelo was not comfortable. he clearly feels 152 is easily achievable and from memory he has never had problems making 154 so i dont doubt that (he is also a pretty short 154 fighter so that also works in his favour) honestly bro the facts are there... you are right about some things but when it comes to floyd ducking fighters? i think you are wrong about almost all of them (which personally leads me to give floyd the benefit of the doubt about the others when those duck accusations arent proven wrong by facts)
