More diversified offense from the southpaw McDonald (triangular right hooks up top and spearing lefts to body and head), but all of it getting slipped. Leon controlling with the precision and intent snap of his rangier left jab.

They hook together at the very end of the round - McDonald landing his right as Leon scores his left (after Leon had thrown a high jab and right on the body)

 

Turning into kind of a gritty inside war. Bad for the Cuban.

Not much clean in the opener, glancing right hook by Nurm rocks Sumpter into the ropes more than it seems it should - maybe a wet spot on the canvas?
