    Rory is overrated.

Rory apparently did pester Coker about making this fight for him. Coker most likely thought Rory was nuts for wanting to fight Mousasi at 185, but acquiesced and made the right anyway.

Disagree. I think he was a supreme talent who was mishandled and didn't align in the way he could have with the sport.

And yet he holds an easy dominant victory over the current UFC champ. He's just diminished from too many tough scraps.

    = overrated.

You're are saying it yourself, he was a 'supreme' talent - and somehow he became this supreme talent again after joining the 2nd league.

He is great, but still overrated. 2-3 in his last five fights.

Rory was supposed to be the heir apparent to take over after GSP left the sport. Who would've thought Rory would be past it while George's looked better than ever last time out.

Depends on your definition of overrated. I don't think his talent and potential are overrated by any means and most of what was expected of him was fair. He schooled the current #1 Welterweight in the world start to finish, and he was winning while fighting the dumbest fight he possibly could against one of the toughest guys in the sport - in a fight that probably ruined both guys to a large extent. If Rory fought smarter and won a UD against Lawler how different to you think the UFC WW scene would be today? Woodley sure as hell wasn't beating him, Mac is his kryptonite.

Good win for Mousasi but **** him continually talk **** about Machida, his excuses since he lost there 1st fight are pathetic and I hope Machida knocks his ass out when they fight.
Machida is a legend of the sport and legit good guy, his 1 mistake he admitted guilt and dobbed himself in for taking something that had just been put on the banned list 6 months before and that people with any knowledge of the product will tell you isn't even really performance enhancing, yet he gets a worse punishment then recent cases of blatant and/or sometimes repeat offenders who were taking far worse stuff also.

Old man farewell tour doesn't count for ****. If they had stringent drug testing back in pride Jackson would have KO'd him there too. Those Brazilian guys were juiced up real good back in the pride days. Silva, Belfort etc.

four years ago Woodley wasn't the #1 Welterweight in the world though.

Mousasi is just a beast.. One of the greatest ever! Too bad UFC never gave him a title shot.. Fair play Rory but stick to WW I love watching you fight there. This was a beatdown.. Weight divisions for a reason.

Woodley hasn't changed significantly enough to where the match would go down any differently if they replayed it again with the same Rory( obviously he's war torn now so it's moot but yeah)

Jackson gets the benefit of the doubt because you like him? Jackson was on TRT back when it was still legal, yeah I wonder why?. Crazy to assume that he might have been on the sauce himself and that Silva was just the better man h2h.

Silva no doubt was on the juice in pride but Jackson most likely was as well.

Never forget those two silva wins over Jackson in pride. The second fight Jackson was doing ok but the following round was just brutal. Those knees!!!

Silva defiently has the more significant wins.

Wanderlei got $1 mil last night. Can't blame him for taking the fight for that.
