Same. I'm man enough to admit it. Fedor is the ultimate glass cannon at this point. Tbh he can probably still beat almost anyone on a good night but on a bad one get blasted out by a top 30-40 HW.

The thought of Sonnen beating another faded Pride legend was unbearable. Fedor avenges Shogun, Rampage and The Axe Murder!

Fedor's sweeps and throws are still sexy as ****. That skill never goes away fully. If Fedor had this kind of focus back in Strike force I dont think he would have lost to any of those guys. The hunger is back even if hes an old man. That makes him very dangerous.

There's precedent for it that's for sure. Baders chin isn't any better than Fedors now and I think Fedor still has better recovery. But its no easy task considering the fact that Baders still a world class fighter. But definitely possible.

Bader has a glass chin so Fedor has a good shot of getting him out of there if he starts quick and doesn't eat a big counter coming in. I really like that Fedor in his last couple fights has been fighting smarter and using his grappling again.

I think you guys are a little too high on a 42 year old Fedor. Gotta say.

Bader should be the fav here and will be I think when the odds come out.

Bader is still a good fighter.

Incidentally, Chael didn't do as poorly as I thought, he had Fedor down a few times but Fedor fought a good intelligent fight.

Fedors probably my all time favorite fighter dude with Vitali being a close second. Fedor is still Fedor, albeit a very diminished version. The ground transitions reminded me of Emperor of old... I imagine RJJ fanboys feel the same when he shows brief flashes of brilliance in his fights. Thar said I'm pretty realistic about where he stands currently. He's a glass cannon... and while a lot of guys can beat him now at the same time given how poor most of the HW division is I wouldn't count him out against anybody.

Honestly I was shocked how some people picked Sonnen to win this fight. Yes Fedor can lose fights these days but thats against guys who can throw hands with power, Chael has NEVER been that type of fighter and Fedor is a legend on the ground.

Fedor is awesome on the ground, always has been. It's a shame over the last 5 years he hasn't used his ground game more, he just seems content to slug it out not using his full skillset.

Fair enough, it's just that we have to be very realistic here, he didn't look all that great vs Chael. Chael is someone he would have destroyed with minimal effort in his prime, absolute destruction.

He's 42 and we've had fighters who shared the ring with him telling us how easy it was to get Fedor down with a shot (Yes he is indeed a glass cannon now).

I think Bader will be too much for THIS Fedor.

I'd like to see Fedor pull it off though, I don't particularly like Bader and I think that Fedor defying father time one more time to be champion would make for a great last fight.
