    Well, the final women's tournament quarterfinal was a bore. Lisa Ward's a talented wrestler but she won't be able to hang with someone like Fujii.

    Stinson and Carl put on a good show considering that they're friends, trading some really nice submissions until Stinson got choked to sleep.

    Tims-Vega was awesome! I love bantamweights! :ibutt The remaining three quarterfinal matches are ALL THIS WEEK on the Soto-Warren undercard!

    Considering my dislike of A) heavyweights in MMA in general and B) fights where most of the time is spent on the ground in general, Hayes-Oleinik was pretty entertaining.

    God damn it!

    Comcast Sports Net is preempting Bellator tonight (and maybe next week as well) to show live college football! There isn't even a repeat!!! :twisted:

    For those with CSN or actual Fox Sports Net (whom CSN gets a share of their programming from), check your listings to see if you're getting dicked over too.

    Isn't it Soto vs Warren tonight? Damn that's gonna be a good fight and apparently there's a bit of needle between them. Soto doesn't like Warren apparently

    Just saw highlights of the fight. Soto has to be kicking himself. He was smacking the **** out of Warren. The first guy to completely neutralise Warren's wrestling and dominate him. Then he gets caught and knocked out. Punch behind the ear; same one that got GSP.

    Joe Warren!

    The good qualities of Dan Henderson (power, chin) but the gameplan smarts of Lindland/Couture; and probably as good or better of a wrestler than Lindland.

    That shot certainly swung the momentum Warren's way, but the nail in Soto's coffin IMO was the flush knee. Before that it was still not out of hand.

    It was close enough that you can't call it a robbery, but I can see how Clementi thought he'd done enough to win 2 out of 3 rounds. His hometown fans certainly thought so.

    Credit to Vanier for escaping some tough spots on the ground, and doing enough offensively to force it to a close SD on the cards.

    It's too bad this was a qualifier for next season's tournament; a rematch here would have been nice.

    Matt Horwich is a real juggernaut. It would be interesting to see if someone like Henderson, Lombard or Le could be the first to knock him out even though those would all be epic mismatches. :yep

    Not to put Schambari down, but it's unfortunate that he's probably the most credible contender on deck for the Lombard-Schlemenko winner.
