Has anyone ever seen a fight stood up while someone had a full mount? Happened in the Askren fight. First time I've seen it.

Mainly due to Huerta's UFC expereince I'd guess, as this fight showed theres not a great deal to his standup belyond reckless aggression.

Great fight for Alvarez. No way in hell was the first round 10-8 like the commentator suggested. I mean, Huerta did drop Eddie afterall.

I really hope that Alvarez/Melendez comes to fruition.

    :good

On one site during the live fight a person in the chatroom said it was a 10-9 round for Huerta. Everyone was all ":blood" until he said "the kd overrides everything else" and there were a flood of about a dozen comments that were all some variant of "That's boxing, moron!!!!"

Yeah, Eddie dominated the round, but if you get dropped, you can't get a 10-8. Especially in MMA, where 10-8 rounds are rare.

I thought Alex would be a little more competitive, but of course Lombard is incredibly strong.

You can tell Hector has never been hit as hard as he was in that 5th. The spinning backfists and the jumping knees that landed clearly made him nervous.

He should win 49-46 but Shlemenko impressed in defeat.

What a letdown. Lombard was gasses from about the 3rd. He did **** all, just held, and the corrupt bald **** let him do it as much as he could cause he's the companies cash cow

Mad respect to the Russian, who had a great chance of stopping the totally gassed Lombard if it wasnt for corrupt bald ****

Less great than the chances Lombard had of stopping him after grabbing his kicks and punching him, as actually happened.

What do you mean? Lombard smashed him several times. It did nothing. The Russian had a granite chin and wasnt getting stopped. Lombardo on the other hand had done a Carwin and was there for the taking.... well would have been of it wasnt for corrupt bald ****
