The thing is, bellew is a method actor, he gets deeply immersed in his roles. He plays an arrogant bully in the film who talks a big game but ultimately ends up getting knocked out, he's been practising for this role his whole life.

In all honesty though if bellew smacked an actor hed have been arrested for assault as the damage a pro fighter and a big guy at that can do is immense.
