Bellew only beat a washed up Haye

 

Let's not get carried away here... he beat a shot, injured fighter. The current Haye is reckless who throws wide, looping punches. Haye's like Roy Jones Jr. type fighter who never honed his skills and relied on his athleticism too much. Father time has not been kind to him.

Bellew should move down to Cruiser and test himself. I don't think he beats any of the top 5 at Cruiser.

 

Mention of Roy Jones makes think Haye has long career still ahead. Maybe Haye can fight him for his highly prestigious German WBU cruiser belt?

It's not even a given he beats Masternak or Makabu in rematches...... Masternak has been on an absolute tear lately avenging an earlier loss to Kalenga in stellar fashion - Bellew like Kalenga beat Masternak by almost nothing. I lean towards Masternak winning a clear UD or possibly even a late stoppage.

Makabu is a notoriously slow starter and Bellew got him out of there before he got a chance to really come on strong. a near 50/50 fight.

The top guys all obliterate him. There's also about 10-15+ other guys who at the very least trouble him.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see another fight or two. If Haye can make money and still defend himself(to some extent) he will fight on. a rematch with Chisora or even Price wouldn't come as a surprise.

 

bellew manages a title shot outta this and haye will have his phone ringing off the hook.

 

Haye demolishes another De Mori or two and talks a decent game and the con could very well work again. Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public. Haye is done. Thought he might have enough left to close the show on a 2nd attempt, but he's a completely shot fighter.

Bellow won because he was far quicker and Haye decided to go toe to toe and got caught.. He never recovered from the first knock down..

Guys like Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis are far better than Haye plus they will box to a game plan.. Not to mention their bodies are in good condition so they can actually fight...

 

cherrypicker bellew will never fight any of those guys. not enough money for getting ktfo. he would probably accept a date with joshua though.

 

Yeah Haye again was in control early on. He was up 2-0 before getting into those silly exchanges in the 3rd.

 

Bellew has no chance against Usyk of Gassiev, none at all................
