Kovalev hasnt had to dig deep because he hasnt fought anyone who's been decent enough to ask those questions from him.Campillo is absolutely shot to **** as we seen in the Fonfara fight,White was a nobody and Cleverly although a decent talent just didnt have a clue what to do once Kovalev started to land on him.

Average chad Dawson who beat Hopkins? Dawson isn't going to ever be a hall of famed but he's been at the top for years whereas kovalev has beaten cleverly and that's it. Bringing race into is pathetic to be honest of course he is going to rate a guy who has been at world level for years over a guy who is just coming through.

Yeah obviously they are a different level but I think you missed my point, we don't know how kovalev will do against that level of fighter and what if he jut happens to walk through them an they can't test him? Will we still be saying he has to face someone who will test him? I'm talking hypothetically but if no one happens to be able to test him then how do you by that reasoning judge how good he is?

 

the thing that is very impressive about Kovalev is he never even loses a minute of a round he dominated top 5 fighters in Cleverly and Campillo, people thinking he is just a puncher don't have a clue, there is serious technical skills there.

Kovalev is virtually unbeatable at LH right now, look at all the Light heavies in the top 10 - Bute, Hopkins, Braehmer, Fonfara, Pascal, Stevenson, Bellew, Erdei - he beats them all.
People are looking at fighters in other divisions ( ward, froch) to find fighters that could give him a fight cause they know he destroys every LH.

Cleverly and Campillo are proven talented fighters, Campillo clearly beat Cloud and has been world champ before, I don't care what any troll says Clev has a lot of talent.
Stevenson has not proved he is better than Cleverly and Campillo- no way
Dawson has lost 3 of his last 5 fights including getting KO'd in 1 round and completely dominated in the other and quitting like a *****y, Pascal beat him up, Johnson knocked him down a few times. Dawson shouldn't even be in the top 10 at LH at the moment, he has no chin, no heart and has proved in recent fights he can't beat the best Light heavies.

Kovalev has beaten 2 world class top 10 fighters, Campillo won 11 out of 12 rounds against Cloud completely gave him a masterclass in boxing. If you know anything about boxing you should respect that Campillo is a top fighter

I see number 3 to 10 being the same level any of those guys could beat each other. Kovalev is the only standout fighter in the division.

Stevenson iced the guy that was considered the number one light heavy weight in the world in one round.Now to me that is a much bigger accomplishment than beating a shot Campillo and a clueless Nathan Cleverly.

If Kovalev had of beaten Dawson in the same fashion I would be saying the same thing about him,fact is though he hasnt so get off his nuts and look at the facts instead being moron and trying to talk down to people on the internet because you dont agree with them.
