Anyone else bored of the bellew and clev build up? I usually love abit of needle between fighters the froch/groves stuff was brilliant even the Eubank/Saunders for me is great but I find myself not actually wanting to watch the build up to this one. I'm not one of these that is spitting my dummy out cos it's ppv I don't like the fact it's shocking but if u don't like it don't buy and I know ill end up buying it but the build has been shite. There just saying the same **** to each other and It doesn't feel like genuine tension all feels abit forced or staged. Maybe it's just me but for the first time before a 'big' fight I'm barely watching any of the build up.
They both annoy me, there like kids in a play ground. I dont think your excited because in reality, this is not a big fight, two failed light heavies fleeing the division on the back of bad knockouts.
I dont mind the needle and bellew make me laugh and his gutteral liverpudlian sterio type. Id realy like bellew to WEAR A PERM AND A SHELL SUIT ala harry enfield
It's quite pathetic now watchin this "EPIC BLOCKBUSTER PPV" build up between two guys who have recently been demolished at top level (especially Bellews terrible performance against Stevenson who went life and death with Fonfara afterwards, Cleverly would school Fonfara) Then watching Bellew argue that Hopkins picked Kovalev because he was an easier fight than Stevenson and Mohammedi!!! Then he said Stevenson would beat Kovalev because Stevenson has ruined the careers of multiple top fighters (I can't even think of one, Cloud and Dawson were already ruined, in fact those victories really flattered Stevenson which makes Bellews performance even worse) THEN he started angrily ranting about a psychology expert for saying that Bellew was an angry person in the lead up to a fight He actually makes Cleverly seem likeable
pretty much agree Bellew talks sometimes with this patronising air like if he says it then it must be gospel Hopkins v Stevenson was NEVER gonna get made once Stevenson became a Haymon/Showtime fighter
