Tony Bellew should be at CW anyway, he would be much stronger. He's at 70% of full capacity at 175. But his 70% is still at the moment decent, but he does need to move up to CW. Some good fights out there. The CW division has allot of raw material, to market.
i doubt very much Ward isnt fit. he trains full time with the Irish elite squad in dublin, our equivalent to your Team GB
This. The only person who can't see that a move up in weight is Tony. I've seen thicker legs on a table. Tony is a great guy, but he should be fighting at Cruiser.
sparring is sparring. means nothing. what means something is that i had a dream lst night that bellew will get stopped by the argie.
Wouldnt suprise me at all if Ward gave Bellew abit of a trimming. Ward is a ****in phenom. Bellew throwing his toys outta the pram after it wouldnt suprise me either mind.
i'm putt £100 on the argie by KO take a look at the 15:45 mark, bellews chin is dodgey the Argentinian is a live underdog [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIfPMMOSEYM[/ame]
It is sparring, class fighters like Bellow have to use what is front of them, they cannot go all out, and thus 'accidents' happen. Famously Greg Page floored an unbeaten Tyson in sparring, he also busted him wide open in another sparring scrap, but at the time I know who I would of put the mortgage on if they had fought in a pro bout. Lennox was flattened by Brewster in sparring, one Hassan Shabazz floored George Foreman in sparring, but ultimately it meant nothing other than a story both men can tell the Grand kids...
third time lucky the last Argentinian live underdog dangersmen with a good record Hearn brought over(purdy and brook fights) have been really poor he should try bringing over some Teak tough African
I don't see this huge need for Bellew to go to Cruiser ASAP. He cuts weight sure but doesn't look any worse than a lot fighters who are tight at the weight (which seems to be most of them these days). He should make the most of the advantages he has at 175 while he can, I think he'd struggle at Cruiser without them.
