:roll::roll::roll::roll: I like Tony a lot, but why is it when a British fighter gets a belt (Brook/Joshua/Bellew) absolute NOBODIES like Flores get a shot? Shambles. Considering how deep Cruiser is as well, you'd have thought he'd at the very least be fighting a 7th-10th ranked guy. Flores isn't even ranked! Thoughts on the fight? It's not that far off what Haye is doing, IMHO.
Terrible fight. Whilst Flores has/had ability and was some what of a "name" back in his prime, he still never beat a real top class CW. Now he is old and realistically isn't even a top 20, or possibly 30 CW. How he is ranked by the WBC says more about the corruption of boxing than it does about Flores' ability. There are far better and more worthy options in the WBC rankings. If Bellew wanted to avoid the real elite at CW for his first defense then he could have fought Kucher. At least Kucher has done something recently, has a chance of making a fight of it against Bellew and will be somewhat known over here for ending Macca's career.
