My my my.....Where to start with this absolute diabolical situation that poor tony was put in.

I think we can confidently say, that this was GGG vs Kell Brook all over again and it could have been even more tragic.

While there are many who have heaped praise and admiration for Tony's courage and willingness to step through those ropes to come face to face with the Monster, I say it was foolhardy bravado bordering on utter stupidity. I do not say this lightly, but Bellew was a very very lucky man to walk out of that arena in one piece. He didn't even know where he was post fight.

I and many others, took no pleasure witnessing bellew's pupils roll to the back of his head until you could only see the whites of his eyes, whilst his his body lay sunken beneath the ropes after Usyk grew tired of playing of with him like a cat would to a mouse after it's been dragged by it's teeth to be mauled in the corner of the room.

It was absolutely horrific. One old man who was stood beside me watching this freak show event, actually prayed for bellew before muttering god rest his soul under his breath. As most inside the building believed that was it for bellew after his head bounced off the canvas. Such was the devastation of the ko. I assured the good gentlemen that Usyk had spared him and he would soon return to his feet.

Thankfully the ref stopped tony from continuing otherwise another blow and he certainty wouldn't be here today. And remember Usyk didn't even come out 1st gear. I've heard some say he struggled to get to grips with Tony. That couldn't be further from the truth. The fact is Usyk lulled Bellew into a false sense of security while he sized him up and assessed his rhythm, whilst tony was desperately trying to summon all his energy to confuse Usyk with random movement similar to what Fury did with Klitschko whilst trying to provoke Usyk into a messy pub brawl fight

The difference is Usyk isn't a one dimensional old robot who can't adapt to unorthodox fighting styles. He's seen it all before and more. So it was only a matter of time before he warmed up and put an end to Tony's little mind games he was attempting to foment upon a master.

The point is Bellew never stood a chance even amongst his best valiant effort and all the partisan crowd behind him cheering every breath and step forward he made. He was used as nothing more than cannon fodder to be dispensed with by his boss. We know who put him up to this fight. Remember he was content to retire until he was called to duty once again to shield Usyk away from the cowardly one.

Once Oleksander had finished unifying the cruiserweight division, and made his intentions clear on conquering the HW division, obstacles were needed to be put in place to prevent from him getting his bare hands on Joshua who should have been the one on his back a fortnight ago. He is after all the Supreme WBO Super champion, which meant he was guaranteed an immediate title shot against AJ.

This is when the poison began to get whispered in his ear via his own manager co-signing with the filth that is matchroom, giving him the idea that he needed these dead rubber fights to acclimatize himself to heavyweight boxing and build up his name. The same garbage Wilder was fed.

And that's when the e Matchroom bodyguards, human shields and castle soldiers were required to come into play, to take their beatings and risk their lives and career, on behalf of the golden chicken.

Usyk always has been ready to go straight for the jaguar without any of these pointless fights where he risks permanently maiming his opponents. Let us not forget this is the same man that toyed and played with Wladimir Klitschko in sparring and smiled in his face whilst doing it.

What chance do you think a mediocre steroid fueled ironing board that is swollen stiff, has against a man of such talent and ability? Size? Muscles? Do me a favour! Usyk runs rings around limited robots for fun. Gassiev held more power he was made to look like an absolute joke.

This isn't a 59 year old Povetkin with no arms. Neither is he a one of these slow fat puddings that AJ has accustomed himself to tucking into like those closet asthmatics Dillian Whyte or Parker.

Here is a man who's stamina and conditioning would make a tour de france competitor proud.

Not to mention his chin is GGG level and beyond. You could pick up the biggest slab of concrete off the pavement floor and smash it over the centre of Usyk's head and he'll still be standing there ready to continue moving forward, smiling maniacally with glee whilst blood is dripping down across his face.

Usyk is coming to take over and slaughter each and everyone of these matchroom sacrificial goats until there is not one of them left standing before he finally be given his rightful chance to end the long roided reign of a disgusting vile fraudulent champion that is terrified of fighting anyone with a heartbeat.

So I'm guessing this means you are off Wilder now and on Usyk?

There's always more than one true champion.

Go back to 2016-17 and you will see before anyone could foresee Usyk unifiying the cruiserweight division or moving up, I warned many about his potential and what he was capable of.

It's all coming to fruition now and there's nothing and no one who can stop him.

Never heard of a cruiserweight punching harder than a heavyweight that has knocked out all but one of his opponents, Gassiev would be destroyed by AJ, he would throw far more punches than Belew did, however this would make him more opento Usyk`s counters, but I do feel AJ is vastly underrated by a lot of boxing fans.

So you never heard that David Haye was once a cruiserweight?

It's not unheard of by any stretch of the imagination.

We've discussed the smoke and mirror stoppages of AJ fights where the most of the fighters were perfectly capable of fighting on.

But that's not what this thread is about.

It's about bellew being thrown to the wolf and barely escaping when he should have been resting his feet up at home retired, happy and safe with his family.

The uppercut that AJ hurt Wlad with was harder than any cruiserweight punch and not all fighters carry their punches up in weight, Haye filled out very well, he was 6`3 and at heavyweight he wwas far heavier than Gassiev, that`s what weight divisions are for.

What is your point exactly? Of course that uppercut was devastating because of lead not expecting/seeing the punch.

There's been many devastating punches delivered that carry great power due to the speed and technique and the opponent not seeing the punch.

That alone doesn't prove he or anyone punches harder than a cruiser. It's a matter of opinion at this point.

What we do know is that Gassiev punches hard enough to test the best of chins.

Joshua is so stiff and one dimensional he was getting outboxed and beaten by a 40 year old povetvin who's arms are so short they look like they are permanently flexed like a t-rex.

On that showing I am more than confident Usyk would embarrass Joshua with superior movement, better ring iq and ridiculous levels of conditioning which is what let povetkin down.

He should have retired. He was coming off 2 career defining wins and a nice little cruiser run. He was also 35. There was no need to go back to cruiser and fight someone who's levels above him. Gotta credit him for daring to be great, but at the same time, daring to be great doesn't benefit him in this situation. Should've retired after Haye.

Maybe Uysk can surprise Joshua. Joshua did look exhausted in the Wlad fight and ready to go.
I am probably one the Joshua doubters. He seems he has tip-toed thru the tulips with some of
    his questionable opponents.
But maybe he gets better with age.
I'd like to see Uysk/Joshua rumble. Uysk/Wilder would be interesting as well.
