It seems neither Haye or Bellew want to give in an inch in their demands for a rematch. I thought this might happen, since the first fight Bellew has been going on like he's now the biggest star in boxing and Haye as we all know has one of the biggest egos in boxing. For what it's worth I still think Haye is the "A" side in this fight as he does by far the bigger numbers and is much more of a household name despite the loss.

It looks like the result of the Parker v Hughie fight will determine the path of Haye & Bellew. If Parker wins, Bellew gets his shot next, if Hughie wins Haye gets his shot at a title.

Not really sure what demands Haye has but he has to be B side this time.

Haye has to have a fight before any shot at the WBO as:

    1) He is coming off a loss, and WBO forbids a shot at the title if you are coming off a defeat.

    2) He needs a top 15 ranking.

Not too hard to set up but it does change the timeline a little.

Agreed, I think Haye should do what he can to get this fight on again. Without injury he'd win easily and it would restore his reputation again.

As with anything it'll come down to £££s

Fact is Haye can make big money whoever he fights...he'll make more fighting Bellew (depending on how the deal is split) most likely but it doesn't make sense to hand a guy you hate a huge payday unless it's more than you'll get fighting someone else...

Both need to cede some ground...Bellew refusing to budge is cutting of his nose to spite his face...even if it was the same deal as last time it's a much bigger pay day than he'll get elsewhere...

Haye is the draw at the end of the day.

It may be more tricky than that, we don't really know.

Bellew may be insisting on a clause to have a rematch, making it a trilogy decider, for example.

This obviously wouldn't suit Haye if he REALLY wanted a pop at a title, as it would tie him up until 2019.

All speculation of course, but that is all we can do as we will likely never know.

Oh **** off Tony. You're nobody who still has the worst muscle tone I've ever seen on anyone at heavyweight.

The sooner he's bagged at this weight and we don't need to listen to it the better. Think's he's Rocky because he struggled badly to beat a one legged man in an ass kicking competition. Feed him to AJ for a laugh.

Would love to see the fight again, with the winner facing AJ/Wlad.

I don't think Eddie Hearn would want that though, because let's face it, AJ is his cash cow now, and will be for many years to come. If Haye was to beat both his boys (Bellew and AJ)... well... it is going to harm their future earnings, especially AJ's, and Haye is a dangerous opponent for any HW out there.

stop saying haye is a dangerous opponent! look past his six pack and arrogance and realise he ain't that good, look at the first 5 rounds bellew, he looked slow and bellew took his best shots, he has convinced people like you that he is a great heavwyeight by beating the maggot and a youtube trained australian boxer.

The fella could barely walk to the ring, no way did Bellew take Hayes 'best shots', as Haye was not in the physical condition to throw them.

A pair of total wallopers. You couldn't make a decent heavyweight boxer out of the two of them currently.

yes that's what i'm saying, haye at 36 or whatever he is is finished and is no threat to AJ, his body can't do it anymore. Aj would kill him

Having an aesthetic physique isn't an absolute must in boxing, but skills are.

I would disagree, I think a fit Haye (and I believe he can get back to that level) would be AJs biggest threat amongst the current crop of heavyweights. The occasion against Whyte and again against Wlad when AJ was in trouble is the kind of situation I would fully expect Haye to capitalise on and finish AJ off.

Of course the big question would be can Haye get himself into that situation before he gets hit on the button or stopped himself? That is the beauty of boxing.
