Bellew-Haye 'virtually dead'

Could Bellew not fight again? I say this as reminiscent of Froch at end waited knocked back fights then time he picked Chavez and thst fell through he had lost his hunger and rightly decided to retire. With Bellew he's more or less walked away from Ward fight is currently saying Haye fight is dead in the water and if Parker loses to Fury the attraction of thst fight goes (I will be shocked if fury don't win as Parker tailor made for him).

he should fight andre ward, it makes sense for both fighters.

Ward isn't a draw...would be a dull as dishwater fight...and Bellew would probably lose

 

Could well see this being the end for TB.. He doesnt want to fight any of the other belt holders thats for sure...
And as others have said even with a big build up I cant see Ward Bellew selling out a massive stadium without a huge and good undercard.

Belllew isn't elite you could make an argument for him not being true world class really so hes done well to achieve what he has

 

Haye and Bellew are the absolutely dregs of "world" heavyweight "contenders".
They ought to British title eliminator level at best, currently.
Haye hasn't been fit for fighting in years and Bellew is just a pudgy cruiser who'd lose to the best fighters in that division too.

I'd rather that guy Cojanu who fought Parker last time get another title shot, that one of these overpaid clowns.

yeah I think Haye has to blast Bellew out and avenge the fake defeat, if he doesnt do that he gives Bellew the right to spout his nonsense forever. Haye should be begging for the rematch, if he is not then it doesn't look good where his confidence is concerned. I would have thought his main motivation coming back would be avenging that embarrassment. weird.

Yeah I saw Eddie Hearn's interview on IFL and it's pathetic from Haye. Apparently they are negotiating over purse splits, who's name goes first in the match title, who gets the bigger dressing room, who walks out first etc...

Haye should take the exact same deal offered to Bellew last time, and it should be Bellew vs Haye with Bellew walking out last. Disappointed in David.

It would be foolish to presume we know all the facts, and all the issues are down to Haye.

What I heard Hearn say was '....those two can't agree to anything..', which certainly wouldn't imply the fault should lay all at Hayes door.

Despite being wrong, very wrong, about the last time, there's still this fanatical confidence that Haye would beat Bellew pretty easily if they met again
Haye, to his credit, is a little more realistic.

 

FWIW I think even a fairly shot Haye would beat Bellew if he was actually fit but I don't think this magically fit, two legged, two armed Haye exists anymore. It's a shame as I would have enjoyed watching him splatter Bellew just like I enjoyed him laying out Chisora.
