Bellew looks terrible at the weight

its his first fight at the weight give him some time rome wasnt built in a day, but hes no David Haye at the weight right now, thats for sure

 

I like bellew, can understand this sudden hatred for the guy, didn't see people chat this much shite when he used to post here.

 

People often read into physiques too much. Some fighters just don't have that "ripped" look but can still fight - Tony Thompson is a good example, Calzaghe v Lacy as already mentioned etc.

Bellew looked gaunt at LHW especially at the tail end of his time there. He boxed up at HW in the ABA's so I think he'll be fine at CW. Don't think he looks "terrible" at all, not from the weigh in footage posted on this thread anyway.

Hopefully he'll fair well up at CW.

 

You need to remember that this is the same guy who was adamant Burns was gonna do a number on both Beltran and Crawford before unifying the division atsch I don't think Billy really believes that Bellew will become a WC at CW, he probably just doesn't want to shít on a fellow Pro, especially a fellow Matchroom pro.

 

Any big name opponents in the AM's?

 

he looks a lot fleshier than even the weigh in....

if it goes over 6 or 7 he is in trouble
