Something that I think has been overlooked in the build up to this fight is just how close Bellew was to getting stopped by Brudov in the 7th round. He had him on ***** street and stupidly went low allowing Bellew time to recover. If he had kept his punches up, you were looking at 60%+ chance of a stoppage...where would we be now and is Bellews potentially fragile chin being overlooked? I keep going back and forth with who is going to win tomorrow, but perhaps the value is in the Cleverly stoppage?

Bellew has a decent offence, not a great defence. thats gonna be his problem, when he doesnt knock cleverly out quick.

Cleverly could be carrying more power, he looked pretty huge at the weigh in compared to how he usually looks. One of his sneaky uppercuts on the inside could do bellew.

That could be the one. It'd crack me up if he stopped big mouth Bellew. Could you imagine Tony's face if Clev KO'd him and then said " I carry powwwwwer!"

For gods sake, its boxing, just about every fight someone will get wobbled. We starting a thread because in one fight apparently whiteman2000 got his boxing calculator out and worked out tony was 60% near KO???

The left that Stevenson hit Bellew with basically knocked him out on his feet - it wasn't a huge punch but still had him all over the place.

Yep, absolutely. Bellew was in big trouble against Brudov at times.

A lots been made about Bellews power at cruiser but I think Clev can bang just as much if not more. Certainly has the physique to suggest he can generate more power. I hope Clev stops him.

I remembered it when I first watched it and rewatched it yesterday. I think Bellew's weak chin has been completely over looked. For starters, it's not like only Clevery was KO'd no reporters seem to bring up Bellew being KO'd more recently.

completely out on his feet and clinging on for dear life, milked the 'low blow' that hit on the belt to give him the time to recover. He was badly hurt.

That's the intriguing thing about this fight, Bellew has mentioned his power over and over again to extent of telling Cleverly to bring a pillow. What what if Cleverly hits Bellew with a clean shot with an extra 2 stone behind it, Cleverly is not known as a puncher but still has both wins at CW as stoppages. And the way Bellew lost his senses after the short chopping right from Brudov, that's worrying as Brudov is no puncher. As Bellew stated at some point in this fight ' i will land clean', and to add at some point Cleverly will too.

Can anyone remember him being knocked down like a salmon against Mckenzie?

He is useless! If a former British, commonwealth, European, world champion can't beat him convincingly (Clev) he needs to stop boxing
