I’m guessing he’s using Usyk’s name to try and suggest Haye isn’t one of his final fights Win or Lose v Haye I think Bellew will be retiring this year and I can not see him fighting Usyk for a smaller pay to a couple Haye PPV paydays I can see Usyk winning a completely one sided fight which probably turns into sparring in last few rounds for Usyk But if Bellew takes this fair play to him!!
Haye went in looking to get the win by boxing Bellew, he didn't put real power in to his shots as the back leg wasn't 100%, and he didn't want to risk it blowing, which it eventually did anyway, then he went wild trying to take him out as he knew he was on borrowed time. I'm surprised it took until the 11th for Bellew to force a stoppage against a one legged fighter tbh.Everyone that wasn't a scouser was a little confused when Bellew was running around after the fight thinking it was a clean legit win and boasting about it not mentioning the injury. Prime Haye Enzo's Bellew 10/10 in no time, if his leg holds up I still think he stops Bellew in 6-8 rounds at this stage
Either Bellew is just blowing his foghorn or he has a desire to be beaten into retirement. I suspect very much the former. He has no chance against Usyk and i'm sure he knows it unless he's joined Hybrid's club delusion. Usyk has a few flaws to work on (he seemed too easy to hit on Saturday and was not circling as much as he can do) but he's levels above Bellew.
Not at all... Haye went in looking to blast Bellew outa there early but was kept out of power punching position by Bellews movement on the backfoot. Watch it back , Haye was swinging like a mad man trying to take Bellew out but landed nothing. The fight looked almost exactly like Taylors schooling of Ohara. Haye looked bad and its not because of some phantom injury , its because of how heavy he was and thats what lead to his ankle blowing out. Way too much mass on him. Credit should be given to Bellew for moving around Haye and keeping him off balance till the point of bodily breakdown. Thats what he predicted and thats what he produced. Bombers extremely high ring IQ brought him the win , not some 'preexisting injury'.
