Exactly , Good trainers and good fighters split now and then, this is nothing new , a change is as good as a rest and all that , good luck to the pair of you , Ps when are you fighting in Liverpool next Tony ? (nephews keep nagging yours truly to go see you fight live ) ..

    Its probably the travelling.

Or it could be the commute.

    Might be the journey.

Wasn't quite clear in Tony's previous posts.

    Could you clarify Tony?

Just sick of the journey, 45 mins there and 45 back.. I've been doing that for nearly 4 years and it takes it's toll, I have 2 young boys and I'm seeing less of them all the time, family is my priority it's that simple.. Only I know what's best for me guys ;)

read tony say in q&a "On way to train AGAIN" - thought something was up, sounded like training becoming a chore, never a good sign

good luck with the move lad - hope it works out

Why do you say that? Explain what 'a top American trainer' can do for Bellew in comparison to what is available at home?

Farnell is not an established trainer. He has not been developing Bellew properly. He has pandered to Bellews "im KOing everybody" ego and this caused the Ajisafe fight. Bellew went in believing in his power and was shocked, frustrated and embarrassed as the fight went on and he couldnt land and when he did land, Ajisafe took it.

    NO PLAN B

Farnell hasn't been giving the technical advice and development Bellew would really grow from. We know he has the power, he needs to stop looking for it and develop the skills. At the moment, even a 46 year old Bernard Hopkins would walk rings around him.

BUT THIS IS A STEP IN THE FIGHT DIRECTION FOR BOMBER

I am delighted at this move and I really hope that Bomber is on the lookout for a top top trainer. This guy has the power and heart, lets see him develop more ring savvy and I really believe Bomber can go all the way. For the first time, I am excited about his career. A trainer like Brooks/Roach/McGirt/Shields/Stewart would be ideal for Tony to develop.

    COME ON BOMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
