Bellew saying he will do even more damage than Kovalev did to Nathan, same old tripe every fight, no doubt Nathan will KO Bellew in a rematch.

Yeah Bellew came across really bitter yet again last night, the difference in class between the two personalities of Cleverly and Bellew is there for all to see. Cleverly was really respectful in his post-fight comments, then when the camera panned on Bellew for a response he seemed eager to get into a "my bum was better than your bum" dick-swinging competition; you could almost see Nelson wince as Bellew was trying to belittle Cleverly and somehow big himself up - even though he scraped a win against a Russian journeyman - who actually nearly took Bellew out himself.

Cleverly was better than Bellew at LHW, and I have a feeling he's going to be even better than him at CW.

Bellew still has a chip on his shoulder about Cleverly. Bellew is a fighter who promises so much and delivers so little. His mouth wildly over estimates his ability with weak showings, time and time again.

If Bellew's won amatuer titles & is so comfortable & powerful at cruserweight, why has he fought most of his career as a light-heavyweight????? Cleverly looked better physically at the weight than Bellew in my opinion. Bellew looked abit pudgey. Also Bellew made out he was $1m against Brudov. He was in serious trouble at one point in the fight, although he did finish well. Bellews mouth writes cheques his ability can't cash. At world level, has anything he's said come true??

You are not wrong regarding the brudov fight. If it hadn't have been for brudov's low blow giving bellew a bit of much needed time to recover he could have been gone.

I don't have a problem with bellew though. He put up a good fight against clev last time and showed character. I think it will be a worthy fight but I still fancy clev to win again. On points.

The Cleverley carry on was silly & a shame because that aside (apart from a minor mistake when discussing a next opponent for Callum Smith which he corrected) I thought Bellew done very well or maybe just a lot better than I expected. After only hearing him talk for any length of time at press conferences i was impressed on Saturday night, couple more outings without the Cleverley/threats nonsense & I reckon he could become a good pundit.

Bellew, Moore, Smith and Macklin are all great pundits, IMHO.

Very astute and they are students of the game.

Cleverley was pin point in his post fight interview , stating clearly he respects Bellew as a fellow fighter but yes theres rivalry there and its a foregon conclusion theyl meet in the near future , Bellew then had to spue utter shite giving it the big i am this n that and in the process made himself look a 1sr class knob !!!!

Bellew appears to be a legend in his own head he talks like a warrior but seldom fights like one tbf he is a great self publicists and will earn a living out the game but wen I watch his fights I often find myself feeling let down.

Tony's a drama queen that's all, and it sells..

If folk want to tune in just to see him get smashed up again that'll be just fine by him.

It is boxing, after all. :hey
