I can tell you the replies you'll get to that "If you don't like it, don't PAY" "It's just the price of a few pints" "Can't afford? Embarrassed for you" "Tony Bellew is a PPV fighter" None of which tackle the actual problem.
Exactly. Fact is they have made literally 0 effort at all on the card, so charging a score is just taking the **** out of people. Eddie will say "I am not forcing anyone to pay" but at some point people will get fed up and stop paying. I actually have 0 issues with PPV, but this is a joke. Like most of his this year. The Parker vs Whyte card did look dreadful on paper. But by chance it happened to be a screamer
Funny you should mention that. I was already a bit dubious about Parker Whyte as PPV material and then I saw the card and thought it was an insult. Then of course it turns into a succession of great fights, probably the most entertaining card of the year. Eddie must have someone looking out for him, guardian angel, or a devil looking after his investment.
Agreed, on paper I thought it was pants. He's had this a few times were his stinking cards end up being loads of fun
Have seen a lot more moaning of late about it though. Wouldn't mind if he spent £25 and put a few area title fights on or something. But a succession of 1/100 pokes is very tedious
So is there any rumours of any of fights on this card? Besides Crolla, Allen and the Bellew fight. I always find it fascinating how they manage to keep fights under wraps right up to last minute surely a few boxers would let slip their in the card. Even if it’s a knock over job.
Funny how this is now the accepted norm for PPVs. We were all told to shut up and just don't pay when we told you this was happening.
Yeah, this is rubbish. He won’t just be fighting any old Eastern European bum but may be fighting an unbeaten Canadian bum with no punch called Chris Norrad.
Yeah you would think so. Apparently Hearn did a deal with Little after Dinu pulled out and this might be part of it?
