It kinda reflects badly on Bellew he wasn't able to get any better fight than this joke again.

Biggest money fight for him. 20k ticket sales, at least 500k PPV buys. He's hit the jackpot twice with the Haye fights, he is laughing all the way to the bank.

True, but I think Bellew and Hearn thought he was now more marketable than "just" another rematch with a very shot and faded Haye. I think they tried to feel our Parker or even Wilder for a fight, but neither probably offer the same risk/return value of a rematch with Haye. It puts Bellews self-perceived marketability (or lack thereof) into perspective.

Wilder is too big and too windmill, Bellew has a wife and children

Haye won this press conference by taking the calm approach he did. He made Bellew look silly at times, it felt like Bellew was talking to himself. Haye stayed quiet and made Bellew look like a fool in there. Bellew tried to start arguments, tried to get in Haye's head, but none of it worked.

We pretty much all know that a fully-fit David Haye absolutely destroys Tony Bellew, and we will see it on May 5th, guaranteed. Then he can go fight Joshua, which is a very interesting matchup. I'm not sure who I would back in that fight. I honestly feel that Haye has the right style to beat Joshua. Let's get this straight, a fully fit David Haye in good form should be backed against any of the current top heavyweights to win.

Can Joshua and Wilder survive a fully clean and flush hayemaker? I doubt it, especially when those fights go into the later rounds and the stamina and movement of Haye starts to pay off and those other guys start to lose momentum and have been caught earlier in the fight.

Haye couldn't land a single flush shot on Bellew even before any injury. How is he going to land on AJ or Wilder? At this stage, Haye is restricted to fighting 2nd tier guys and CWs like Bellew to make a living. Haye is light years away from a title shot at HW.

He was injured going into the fight. I thought this was common knowledge. He flew to Germany on the Wednesday during the fight week. Bellew actually said something about his Achilles at the public workout. Don't judge Haye on that fight because he could barely stand.

Just finished watching the press conference. I think Bellew believes he will lost this time round, seems to have completely lost all his confidence.

Bellew also looks a bit out of shape so close to the fight.

Just over a year ago, Haye was Joseph Parker's mandatory. Dude should've taken that fight.

Yep seen the whole thing now, Haye came across well and composed, hasn't made any reference to the injury which caused the defeat. Class act. Bellew always harps on about how the weight is the reason for his loss to Adonis. No excuses from Haye - in line with the Warrior's Code.
