Ismal Salas has one of the bet brains in the game He took on this job for a reason He would not do it if he though Haye would fail I think he knows something and sees something everybody else does not . This is a man that does not get it wrong I think Haye could win it
The money will be a factor but remember he DITCHED his long time student Linares for Haye. He sees the bigger picture. Salas knows a win for Haye means a possible shot at Joshua. It’s a good point. The mere presence of Salas in the corner demonstrates that Haye is fit and ready to win.
The look Eddie gives Haye after the push hahahaha. It’s like “yeah so don’t **** with us son” but at the same time absolutely bricking it haha.
Reminds me of the aftermath of Chisora throwing the table at Whyte. “Stone Cold” Adam Smith calmly chatted to Chisora telling him to relax and Eddie bricked it when Chisora accused him of promoting death threats. Classic Ed, although at 6’6” and having boxed as a youth I’m sure he can handle himself against the average Joe.
Not for a minute suggested Hearn would batter Haye but I actually think Hearn is game if it kicks off. Seen him with Khan and Lo Grego when Khan barged into him. I also think he cane straight from his godfathers funeral to the press conference hence his black attire so no doubt wasn't in the mood for anymore ****.
Lmfao - I’d fancy myself against fast Eddie and I’m in a wheelchair...No chance vs a boxer and certainly not Haye Anyway...interesting interview from Josh Taylor on YouTube...says Haye wasn’t putting the work in under mcguigan, he looked fast and explosive when he did see him but felt he wasn’t applying himself in the gym and underestimated Bellew. Also felt the reason Haye and mcguigan split was Haye not giving back what mcguigan put in...if Haye has trained like he says he has he fancies him to win...
Yeah but Haye said he trained hard last time, which brought was lies then and I feel it is again. I doubt think his body can handle training in any way other than just short bursts.
The essex snide is playing a character. He's starring in his very own Eddie Hearn show. Live on sky/twitter/youtube.
I don't usually listen to what they say but how they look and so far Haye looks good. He looks lean, fit has dropped muscle and that is more pivotal that anything he says..
He always looks toned. I think he's out weight onbcomosred to early on months camp. I think he will be lighter than last time but only just.
Hmm I’ll take this with a pinch of salt. Haye was in Miami and Taylor wasn’t. Also we know he was carrying an Achilles problem into the fight so maybe he genuinely couldn’t train as hard as boxers usually do. Perhaps Shane told Taylor that. Whatever, I think it’s apparent Haye underestimated Bellew first time around.
I'm rooting for the Hayemaker. Bellew is an overachiever albeit underrated. I just watched the first fight back and Haye won the first 5 rounds with ease by landing body shots. I gave him too much credit on first watch. I personally dislike Bellew but i will say he is a tad underrated boxer which is simply down to having more boxing experience than most. I don't think he's anything special, though. Gassiev and Usyk would beat him with relative ease. Haye by decision. I think he's gonna pace himself more and not head hunt like last time. Hopefully he's not got any niggling injuries going into the fight this time.
To see him beaten again as a pub-drunk fighter by a flabby confidence trickster LHW, after first seeing him leap around the ring as an entertaining KO artist on 2004 on those Mick Henessey cards would be a massive shame. Also, from a boxing POV, what good would it be if Bellew won? He says himself he can't beat AJ or Wilder. A (relatively) uninjured Haye against Joshua would be an interesting match-up however although I appreciate that "uninjured Haye" is something of an oxymoron.
