Bellew won by KO, what the actual ****!

I told everyone that Bellew messed Haye up through mind games getting him riled up to the point of him wanting to take Bellew's head off.

It transferred over into the fight and haye abandoned any gameplan and went fighting solely on emotion which is dangerous on any level of boxing.

It cost him, plus the fact that belllew isn't a cab driver who you can put down with a 1-2 combination.

Absolutely true, prior to the injury Haye still looked sloppy AF and in fact his sloppiness is what injured him in the first place. He's either done (which he didn't look physically) or he's always been vastly overrated.

 

Bellew's cruiser/LHW speed was a factor, not saying Bellew is the fastest, but compared to Haye's last opponents he is quick.

 

Wow Haye lost. I ranked him so highly in my heavyweight top 10 despite him not fighting any big name. Well at least he wasnt in my top 5.

 

Not for the entire fight. Haye was so wild and sloppy early on he looked awful. He should have ironed Bellew out but didn't.

 

Haye;

Too much mass....should have been much lighter

Too much explosive training will put big strain on tendons and ligaments.

The longer the fight went on it worked against Haye.

He looked way off with his timing early on too.

 

Didn't see it but from the description it sounds like the same thing that happened in Cotto vs Martinez. Haye came into the fight with an injured leg that he could barely stand on and got knocked out by a smaller lesser fighter.

 

Weren't there threads on here a couple days ago saying that Haye had hurt his achilles tendon but wanted to fight anyway? Am I the only one who saw those?

 

Damn Haye was winning and then lost to Bellew lol...

 

Bellew didn't look any better than I expected.

It was Haye who surprised me. He looked awful from the first bell. Then the injury kicked in and it was all downhill from there on.

Bellew has been saying Haye is past his best all week.

 

Can't believe how hyped you guys were to watch Little Toe vs. Bellew at heavyweight! Haha. Well, good entertainment for ya'll, I suppose.
